Around the world more and more people today are living in urban
areas. Why is this? What problems does this cause?
There is no doubt that many people migrate to cities to look for new opportunities.
There are two main reasons, and three problems of this trend, which will be discussed
in this essay.
Probably the main reason for living in cities is the lack of jobs in rural areas. Due to the
development of the agriculture industry, human resources are minimized. This transition
results in a lack of work, Thus those who are in the working ages may find difficulties in
finding a job if they stay. In urban areas, In contrast, the economy develops quickly,
which increases the demand for labour. Furthermore, as the infrastructure is less
developed in rural areas, there are many disadvantages to living there. Many choose to
move to urban areas in order to have a better lifestyle.
There are three major problems of the migration from rural to urban areas. The first
problem is overpopulation in cities, especially metropolitans. Many of them have a
significantly low number of people per meter, which vastly decrease life quality.
Secondly, competition for jobs has always been a major issue. Those who come from
rural areas are often ready to work at a lower rate, which creates a conflict with local
people, who cannot afford a lower rate. Finally, housing and renting prices claim
dramatically in cities as there is a high demand created by immigrants; therefore, it
makes living in those places much more difficult and expensive.
To conclude, the reasons for living in cities are more job opportunities and better

infrastructure. However, three major issues are overpopulation, job competition and

In some countries, there are fewer young people who listen to or play
classical music these days. Why is this? Should young people be
encouraged to play or perform classical music?
Around the world, there are some states that witnessing reduction of people playing and
listening to classical music. This happens because in the modern world new types of
music are more appealing for a younger generation. It seems that the young ought to
be encouraged if they listen to or play classical music.
To begin, more types of modern music was created. As many spheres in life, music also
has developed and changed since the past, moreover, nowadays such genres as
techno and rock music attract more young listeners due to their rhythmic, fresh, and
energetic tunes. To illustrate, recent research shows that vast majority of teenagers
consider listening to classical tune as a boring, uninteresting and old fashioned activity,
whereas techno and rock music is easy to listen to and also it represents a symbol of
brightness, energy and youth.
Nevertheless, due to many cognitive benefits, the young ought to be encouraged to
perform and listen to classical music. It is common knowledge that this type of melody
helps not only relax but also enhance focusing on really tough tasks, therefore, it is
sufficient to encourage the young generation to listen to it during their studying. Besides
, if parents encourage their children to play classical music, this will develop their lateral
thinking and fine motor skills that are vital abilities for a young individual. For example,

Nowadays, children are very much addicted to games, which has become a concern for
parents all over the world. They think it is affecting their kids and it has no value in
education. Though there are arguments, I radically agree that gaming habit is not doing
any good to humankind. This essay will discuss the views and explain why I think so.
To begin with, while technology is growing with progressive society, there are also many
negative side effects of games. Firstly, living in a fictional life is very dangerous as well
as worrying for children. They think themselves a real character of the game, hence try
to behave like that in their practical life too. For example, a boy in India was so much
addicted to video-games that he murdered his own parents because he imagined
himself a figure from the play. Secondly, is gives eye pressure. Many children have a
tendency to hunch over the screen, as a result, they are getting poor eyesight at a very
early age. kids watch the screen all the time, for instance, may have high power
glasses. Therefore, kids are doing bad in their study and gaining nothing in life.
On the other hand, sometimes kids may gain something positive too from games.
Technology and science are releasing more games every day to attract kids in order to
remain in the market. Some brain games, for example, may grow a kid's innovating skill.
However, PC games or PlayStation are so addicting that children prefer to play indoor
all the time instead of going outside. They take it as their timepass or mental relaxation.
Games' alluring attributes are attracting more kids day by day, thus many kids dream to
own these. Moreover, they may have very little good as well, but this is not worth it in
order to the negative impacts.

In conclusion, this essay has discussed the views. Although there are pros and cons, I
reckon that these have made children lazier as well as vicious. Kids get no or very little
education from games.
Some people think that climate change could have a negative effect
on business. Other people think that climate change could create
more business opportunities. Discuss both views and give your own

and according to the survey conducted by the Economic Times, the sale of air-purifiers
and anti-pollution masks increased by almost 100%. Likewise, poor rainfall increases
the demand for rainwater harvesting systems. In the same way, hotter summers provide
manufactures a great opportunity to sell more fans and air conditioners. These
examples clearly prove that if businesses are capable of catering to the changing needs
of society in the wake of climate modification, they can reap rich dividends.
In conclusion, although many people consider climate transformation as bad for their
trade, in my opinion,it is possible to gain huge monetary benefits from such changes.
The first man to walk on the moon claimed it was a step forward for
mankind. However, it has made little difference in most people’s lives.

Scientists often visit other planets to explore the chances of lives. Some people opine
that it is a waste of enormous funds whilst others have contrast viewpoint. Although
ordinary people's lives stay the same, I believe these visits can be beneficial for
mankind in future.
On the one side, walking on the moon and other planets require huge investments.
Millions of dollars are spent on rockets and other equipment to send a scientist. Further,
it is unsure that they will invent and find something useful; nevertheless, billions of
people are dying of starvation. Some scientists even die on their way too. For instance,
Kalpana Chawla an Indian scientist died while returning from another planet. If this
money is spent for the welfare of society, it will more beneficial. Therefore, instead of
spending much on these journeys, more focus should be on alleviating situations of
poverty-stricken people.
On the other side, the population is rapidly burgeoning on earth, finding the possibilities
of life on other planets is vital. If scientists do not visit other planets, how this will be
found. It is irrefutable to state that these may have little or no effects on common
civilians' lives in the present but definitely effect in future. This may be possible that
there will be no space to live on earth. In such case, the moon and other planets can be
last resort for humans. For example, as per the recent article in an English newspaper,
if the population increase with the same rate, in the next decades, the earth will not be a
suitable planet to live on. Hence, walking on the other planets is paramount.
In conclusion, visit moon is not a redundant activity as this is for the better future of

solution. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Lack of food availability is raising a significant concern in this temporary world, and
there is a biology-related solution that scientists suggest is genetically modified foods.
In my perspective, utilizing this biology technique will solve the shortage of foods
because it eliminates some of the potential causes of this issue.
To begin with, it is apparent that scarcity of foods appearing all over the world due to a
drop in agricultural productivity. Insects and pests are the main factors for damaging
crops, food production or parasitizing livestock, leading to a lack of annual harvests.

always people who do not have strict moral values and without any laws, they would

First, human nature is not humanitarian and history shows us that people who were the

wanted. However, modern laws aroused out of a need for finishing this practice when
cruelty rules the world. Moreover, today every person is equal to the legislation.

this statement.
Some would claim that the role of music should not only tie closely with enjoyment as it
has a bigger role than this. Music has a large contribution to the education process as it

literature brings peace and Harmony in a society.
Nonetheless, science subjects in today’s competitive era are vital to study. New
technologies and discoveries require full dedication to practical subjects, like

economic growth and a significant advancement in the health domain. For example,

In today’s world, because of the advancement in the medical sector more and more
health conditions are becoming curable, as a result, in general, the death rate of elderly
people has decreased and they live longer even after their retirement. In some ways,it
has negative impacts on the individuals themselves and society as a whole especially in
case of finance. These problems can be solved by advanced government norms which
favours senior citizens.

people. Since the retirement pension,they get will not serve any purpose as the amount

which retired elderly people can get access to cheaper daily utilities like grocery and

available whose rent is quite affordable for them.

unhappy during it, almost their whole life is spent in misery.
First, it is true that the most enjoyable moments of our lives are spent with our friends
and families. However, our occupation and time spent at work play a great part in our
well-being and sense of fulfilment from life. For instance, if a person works at a daunting
and unaspiring job at the end of the day they will feel completely drained and they will
not have enough energy for an active life apart from their job. Thus, it is hugely
important that work is rewarding and brings a sense of satisfaction.
Nevertheless, the sense of meaningful life depends on a person’s outlook on life. Some
people approach life as a positive experience, while others as a negative one. That is
why those who have a positive outlook on life always have goals and plans for a future

from those of older generations. Firstly, there is a huge difference in how older and
younger generations generate their ideas. For example, in my home country of Sudan,
older people always consult their friends if they have any thought, while younger
generation depend on the internet for generating their ideas. As a result, older
generations’ thoughts are better than those of younger generation because not all
information on the internet is accurate. Furthermore, older generations generate
thoughts from their personal stories. Inventors such as Newton benefited us by making
ideas out of their stories. So, there are many differences in how older and younger

Although variations in thought and behaviours between generations have benefits, they
cause some problems to our communities. First of all, such variations can make
communication between older and younger people more difficult because there are
differences in how they think and behave. This can cause problems to our communities.
In addition, such variations could make people disrespect each other as some people

educators. FOMO is caused by the addiction that social media provides to their users.

shown that multiple opinions can have an immensely negative impact on them as they

whereas the central government needs to reduce money to support arts. In my view, I
agree with the above statement and the reason for my inclination is articulated in the
following paragraphs.
The prime most advantage of spending huge money on education is the fact that it is
the fundamental necessity of society. Setting up a good learning system is a costly
process because there are several factors involved like the construction of school
buildings, salaries for staff, equipment, educational materials, etc. Moreover, educated
citizens are building blocks of a countries economy therefore common people will have
a better standard of life. For example, Canada is ranked the topmost educated country
in the world according to the World Education System. Due to the high literacy rate the
country's economy is the largest in the world.
On the other hand, art is a cup of tea for selected people. In other words, minimum
funding is required for the fine arts as few people are interested in this area. Also,
