Q1) what is noise?

A noise is a sound which is especially very loud or
unpleasant and causes disturbance. Noise is unwanted
sound considered unpleasant or disruptive to hearing .
Noise is indistinguishable as both are vibrations from a
medium . The sound that we want to hear or which is
nice is music water nature wind while on the other hand
the sound we donot want to hear is horns machines and
busy markets

-construction sites
-night life
-animals
-busy markets
-MAJOR CAUSES OF NOISE POLLUTION IN
KARACHI
1) road traffic
2) human activities
3) industrial and civil
work
4) autorickshaws and
the horns of vehicles
5) ambulances
6) weddings and parties
DO PEOPLE GET AFFECTED ?

YES PEOPLE GET AFFECTED AS

-They get affected mentally and physically
because of the noise they can get
headaches
- They can get fever and can catch illness
-they will get lazy and tired
-People can hear up to 10 decibles if the
noise is more than that it can hurt their ears
-They can get
restless nights
due to the
noise
-Due to
continuous
hearing of noise it has set in their mind
