The demand for skilled information security management
professionals is on the rise. Certified Information Security
Manager is a globally recognized standard established
in 2002, which is one of the most highly sought after IT
certifications. It can give you the knowledge and skills to
provide effective security management and consulting
services, as well as open doors for career progression.
Our intensive four-day training is based on the ISACA
framework, which has five domain areas that relate to the
role of a CISM. You will learn about each of these domains
in detail, giving you the knowledge and skills to develop and
manage a resilient information security program. This will give
your management team the reassurance they need to feel
confident in your organization’s information security.
This course will prepare you with the knowledge and skills to
complete the ISACA CISM exam, which will give you Certified
Information Security Manager status.

Course outline
Over the four days you will work through the following CISM domains areas:

• Domain 1: Information security governance • Domain 4: Information security management

Learn how to establish and maintain a framework that
aligns information security strategies with business
objectives and applicable laws and regulations
• Domain 2: Risk management
Identify and manage information security risks to achieve
business objectives
• Domain 3: Information security program management
Get the skills to design, develop and manage an
information security program that implements the
information security governance framework
Understand how you oversee and direct information
security activities to execute the information security
program
• Domain 5: Response management
Learn to develop and manage your capability to respond
and recover from disruptive and destructive information
security events

Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll receive a BSI certificate.

To get your CISM certification, you will then need to book your CISM exam via the ISACA website. Please note this
must be booked 2 months prior to when you wish to complete the exam.
