PROS AND CONS OF SMART DEVICES

Electronic devices are having a great impact on our society and our daily lives, so much so that we
couldn’t imagine a home, office, restaurant or other places without these devices even if it is a small
one, that partly make life easier, but with disadvantages that we must analyze carefully.

Some advantages of the use of these smart devices could be mentioned. Some of these include
internet access facilities, which helps communication, for example in our current situation some of
them help us to continue with our learning, talk with friends, pay bills, etc. Furthermore, these
devices also solve our day-to-day problems because they help us in different activities such as
cooking, washing, cleaning, ironing, and others. Maybe, another advantage would be that these
devices save us a lot of time and organize ourselves better, because we do our activities faster.

On the other hand, the use of these devices brings with them some disadvantages. Since some of
these devices have internet access, it exposes us to some dangers such as scams, privacy violation,
etc. Also, the frequent use of these devices is not good for the environment, because they consume a
lot of energy which is harmful to our economy and to the planet. Additionally, their use, over the
years, makes us dependent on these devices, because we cannot imagine a day without using them,
at the same time, this causes us a social isolation that spoils us for not allowing us to interact much
with the outside.

Smart devices have been in our lives for a long time, and they will continue to be, so we have to
know how to take advantage of them, maybe try to innovate them and learn to live with their
advantages and disadvantages.

UNIVERSITY EDUCATION OR JUST EXPERIENCE

In recent years, the discussion between choosing a university education or just experience has
been talked about a lot. Because many people have different points of view, Some people
think that completing a university education is the best way to get a good job, but on the other
hand, other people think that gaining experiences and developing soft skills is the most
important, this is a very delicate subject, which involves us a lot and that is why we must
analyze it very carefully.

Since we were children, we have been taught that we should always educate ourselves, as well
as they have instilled in us the idea that a university education is the only way to achieve our
goals, therefore our future will be written only by us, because this education is one of the main
drivers of the evolution of society, it could be the help to our different problems because it
gives us another vision of things and encourages us to research and innovation , which we have
to consider because is very important for our lives.

Getting experiences and soft skills is another of the very important issues today, this was very
important in the past since education was very limited by government and society, so they
focused more on getting these skills, as an example might be that some of our grandparents or
perhaps our parents were not educated like us, this skills are the result of a combination of
social skills, communication, way of being, approach to others, etc. Which make a person able
to relate and communicate effectively with others, which is supposed to be necessary for us,
because it is very appreciated for the companies nowadays.

In conclusion completing university education and getting experience and developing soft skills
are to be very important in each of us because they complement each other, and also focusing
on these two educational aspects could constitute the development of the country's economy
and society, especially with the aim of reducing the inequality and improving access to decent
and quality job opportunities.
