also had the opportunity to gain informative work experience as a registered nurse in a
highly praised hospital. Through my CNA certification and pediatric primary care
nurse practitioner internship, I gained expertise in handling frail and delicate patients.

The passion Prairie Lakes has for the care of its’ patients is exactly what I am looking
for in a job. In my most recent occupation as a registered nurse for Brown Clinic, I was
responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients of all ages. For nearly a year, I treated
a variety of different wounds and illnesses, oftentimes working overtime to fulfill the
needs of the hospital. I have also worked as a nurse aid for Brookings Health System.
My role for this position included aiding patients with daily activities and collaborating
with co-workers.

Although these jobs offered me an amazing insight into what a career as a registered
nurse or nurse aid would be, I am being called towards a profession that specializes in
pediatrics. I am excited to continue my nursing journey and would be thrilled to
