2011 Agreement for Graber Farm CSA

What is a CSA? (Community Supported Agriculture)

Community Supported Agriculture is a mutually benefcial commitment between a farm and a community of
supporters. By purchasing a share of the season's harvest, CSA members make a fnancial commitment to
support the farm, assuming the risks and benefting from the bounty of the harvest along with the farmer.
Members receive a weekly box of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season. Becoming
a member creates a relationship between people, the food they eat, the land on which it is grown, and the people
who grow it.
Guidelines:
1. You agree to make a non-refundable deposit (due by March 31st) to hold your place in the CSA.
2. Once or twice during the season, you agree to drive to the farm to pick up the shares for your group
between 2:30 and 3:00pm. You will then take the shares to your designated pick-up location.
3. You agree to give advance notice to your local pick-up co-ordinator if you are unable to pick up your
share on the pick-up day.
4. If choosing the payment plan, you agree to make payments on time, otherwise incurring a $10 per week
late fee.
