larger fish species, seabirds, and marine mammals. Sardines are often served in cans, but can
also be eaten grilled\, pickled, or smoked when fresh. It can also be homemade.

INTRODUCTION
As the community faces the threat of the coronavirus all operations affect it. Such as industrial
production, office operations, and social gatherings, operation of the restaurants, and even the
live shows or TV shows. The budget of the economy is sinking and the inflation of the product is
arising as well as the increase in unemployment. These major problems occur in this era however
they are testing the abilities of everyone how they can survive in the middle of the crisis. In an
entrepreneur studying the different strategies and management, this is the time they can broaden
their knowledge and intervene in the situation arising. To be able to survive and help the
economy’s allocation restore, engaging in business is one of the things they could opt and at the
same time, they could help everyone to benefit their satisfaction.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY


At the moment, consumers are criticizing for choosing a product especially for the benefits will
gain from it, the price which they could spend a minimum, and the quality of the product. The
proponents conduct a business operation that can benefit the needs of the customers and at the
same time to cure their satisfaction and earn a profit. The researchers choose to study about
sardines as food is the basic needs of the people. They make a trial to determine the possible
customers and penetrated the market.
Sardines and pilchards are coming from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, which
pervaded in different countries and it is popular packed by the can for easy preservation.
Sardines are commonly consumed by human beings.
The term sardine and pilchard are not precise, and what is meant depends on the region. The
United Kingdom’ Authority, for example, classifies sardines as young pilchards. One criterion
suggests fish shorter in length than 15cm (6inc) are sardines, and larger fish are pilchards.

In the Philippines, sardines are a popular food for the poor because of the cheap and affordable
price. It is also one of the countries rich in seafood through an agricultural resource they have,
mostly in the provinces which are the basic means is fishing. Since Filipinos are very fond of
invention, different strategies and techniques are applied depends on their desired taste. Such as,
it can cook before serving it. However, it can also spread for bread, while the other is mixed in
their dish. Sometimes they fried it and the soup is placed in the rice. Other restaurants are
invented their sardines for the further recipe on their menu. Some of the housewives also make
their homemade sardines to sell and earn an extra profit from customers and promote their
expertise.

MARKETING NEALTAANVE was engaged in the production and selling of
"Homemade sardines". The following questions are aimed to answer:

1. How much the capital needs in starting in Business?

demographics, and incomes.

3. To determine the customer’s behavior in buying this product of “Homemade
sardines”.

1. To know the step by step process in the production of “Homemade sardines”.
2. To determine what materials are needed in the operation of the product.
3. To determine what place and the area is needed in the operation of “Homemade
sardines”.
4. To determine the benefit of the product.

1. To determine the startup cost of a business.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The relevance of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the product Marin, Homemade
Sardines in Poblacion Santa Cruz different from common sardines that can be bought in stores.

The proponents conduct an inquiry utilizing indirect interrogation to meet the demand and
supply of the product and the target market as well. The implications of the data will be the
source of a possible solution for the problems. As the persistence of the researchers, they exert
more effort to obtain the peak of the product in the market and its development. Through conduct
this study the following must benefit according to their roles.

To the customers/consumers, who patronize the product and gain satisfaction from its content by
promoting the health benefits and affordability.

To the developers, this will benefit the production and online selling of Marin, Homemade
Sardines, and also helps them to prepare themselves in making their own business in the future
and for developing their knowledge, capabilities, and management.

To the future researchers and readers, this will serve as a reference in conducting future studies
related to the production and online selling of homemade sardines.

The proposed title of the proponents justifies the contribution of knowledge in this study
has carefully criticized the dimension of the problems and resolution of them toward the
successful result.

By conducting this study the proponents develop their skills and management toward the
resolution of arising problems, especially, the effectiveness of the product in Poblacion Santa
Cruz and selected barangays, as well as to recognize the feedback from the customers for the
improvement and development of the product.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS

The researchers conduct the study with the purpose to determine the viability of the
product in Poblacion Santa Cruz, Marinduque, and selected barangays. The aspect to be looked
into is limited to the viability of production and online selling in terms of its; Product, Price,
Promotion, and place and at the same time the behavior of the customers in buying.

The study was conducted in Poblacion Santa Cruz, Marinduque, and which the related data was
distributed in selected barangays according to their status to consolidate their opinions.
Researchers choose appropriate respondents to integrate their opinions for the product through
provided questionnaires.

The study was conducted from the month of September to December year 2020 until the
end of the production.

The paradigm shown above represents the system of operation to meet the producer's and
customer's needs. This helps the business by connecting the relationship between them and aims
to solve the problem as well as to benefit their purpose. It is composed of three aspects to be
deemed in the business enable to achieve the goals.

the curiosity as well as the strategic and expertise. These characteristics are indispensable to
shape a successful business. Next, the process is represented by two aspects. The services and
