Scallumpia is an innovative lumpia in a scallop’s version. There are two
flavours that will be offer, the original and spicy flavour. The modern society
craves for new things every day, this is why we innovated the famous lumpia. Our
business is producing and offering food product for the target customers. The
proposed business will be located in front of Naga College Foundation, Naga City,
Camarines Sur.

Important of Product
Scallops are one of the most popular and abundant natural resources found in
Siruma. Because of this, we think of another way on innovating it and decided to
make it as a lumpia that can be enjoyed by everyone. People love eating lumpia
that is why we choose scallops as our main ingredient and named it as
“scallumpia”.
The product will be beneficial to the consumer’s health, and uplift their
knowledge that they can make something new in this kind of natural resources like
Scallops; instead of buying foods, Scallumpia will be providing a healthy,
delicious and natural food for the costumers, and also help the proponent to have
an extra income.

Packaging, Labelling, and Branding

Our Business was named “Scallopet Company”, was derived from the
combination of the name of our main ingredients “scallops” and the Filipino word
“lopet” which means extremely good and outstanding. Scallumpia wants to imply
sophistication yet simplicity in the logo. We used circle in logo to represent unity,
commitment, and love. Circle have no beginning or end, they represent life and the
lifecycle. And then, we used colour brown to represent the appearance of fried
lumpia.
8

The product will be presentable to the customers in a styro (for 12 pcs) and
paper cup (1-11 pcs) together with the product and logo of the company.
