Many organizations are realizing the importance of innovation in creating sustainable competitive
advantage. In a globalized economy, customers are demanding more value, shareholders are seeking
better returns on investment, suppliers and channel partners are seeking to minimize risk and maximize
turnaround times, while employees are looking for challenging assignments and learning experiences.
Senior managers across organizations are invigorating their business plans by developing new products,
processes, services and business models. Innovation as a process, which was earlier visible only in the
big companies serving high end markets, has now become a basic necessity in every company and in all
parts of their value chain

The objective of this program is to expose participants to a suite of tools and methodologies in order to
help them overcome internal and external barriers to innovation. After the program, participants would
be able to generate and implement ideas that are both innovative and practical.

The program will familiarize participants to key concepts in the management of the innovations. The

 Provide tools and techniques that promotes creativity and innovation
 Introduce a method that combines creativity with structured and predictable processes
 Illustrate successful thinking patterns that lead to inventive thinking
 Provide an interactive experience to ensure groups work together in a focused way
 Describe innovation failures under different contexts through experience sharing sessions

Methodology:
The program would be essentially based on experiential exercises and discussions

Dr Rajiv Narvekar, Senior Practice Consultant at TMTC
Rajiv works in the area of innovation and strategy and his research aims to conceptualize, design and
deliver learning experiences in technology & innovation management and business strategy. Through
innovation workshops, he has engaged internal and external stakeholders, co-creating business value for
Fortune 500 clients. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay

Milind Pandit, Senior Practice Consultant at TMTC


Milind has over 20 years of international and domestic work experience and his current interest areas are
Strategy, Knowledge Management, e-business strategy, Strategic IT, and innovation. He has earned his MS
in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing and his MBA in Strategy and Finance (Kelly School of Business,
Indiana University) from the USA. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from COEP, Pune.

Erez is a facilitator and trainer working with companies and organizations worldwide such as Johnson &
Johnson (USA), Kraft Foods (USA), SC Johnson (USA), Siemens (Germany), BPW (Switzerland), SIM, OCBC,
SingTel (Singapore). He is also Head of SIT Operations for Asia Pacific
