First-Ever Bunny Bed & Breakfast Coming Soon

Shagawa, Ill. (March 2021) -- Velvet Noses Rabbit Rescue (VNRR), a
nonprofit charity focused on giving permanent sanctuary to rabbits as well as
an adoption program, will be launching the first-ever Bunny Bed & Breakfast,
which will offer short and long-term accommodations for owners to board
their rabbits. VNRR just announced completion of their new boarding barn on
their 28-acre farm and will be open for booking as early as April.

Rabbit owners encounter certain dilemmas when it comes to the care of their
rabbits. "Travel and military deployments are just some the reasons owners
seek boarding solutions for their rabbits," says Sharon Ceskowski, founder of
Velvet Noses Rabbit Rescue. "Traditional pet boarding facilities and kennels
can be a loud, stressful environment for these quiet, gentle creatures."
Additionally, rabbits do not fare well in confined cages, with no room to run
and explore. Furthermore, rabbits are social and prefer company of other
rabbits.

Features of the all-new Bunny Bed & Breakfast:

Accomodates up to 40 rabbits
Separate or adjoined configurations for bonded pairs
Private climate-controlled indoor living area w/plush bed & litter box
24/7 water and hay w/pellets fed twice/day
Access to a small, private outdoor paddock
All paddocks connected to a large covered socialization yard with small
trees, woods, natural play furniture, and toys
Owner lives on premise
Security Cameras and Fire Protection

These accommodations also include optional services:

Grooming/Nail trims
Medication Administration

Some of the VNRR facility highlights are its sustainable practices such as an
organic vegetable garden, with abundant amounts of kale and other greens,
and the cultivation of its own hay, which VNRR feeds year-round to its
residents and guests.

The Bunny Bed and Breakfast accommodations start at $7/night with long-
term packages starting at $180/month. All accommodations can be reserved
through their online booking system or via telephone.
