The Danger of Cigarette

Smoke is an addiction behavior that has already distributed in Indonesia. It will

always increase because the smokers have being addicted. The highness of consuming
cigarette is felt become one of the biggest menace for the nation future. The mean of these
menace are the damage of young generations, decrease of public’s economic matters, and
decrease of public’s health.

In their official web site, World Health Organization (WHO) mention that cigarette
have already killed almost 7 million people every year in the world. The Health Minister,
Nila Moeloek, announce that WHO has also put on Indonesia as the third highest cigarette
market after China and India.

More than one third of Indonesian people are becoming a smoker right now.
Moreover, the adolescent in their 13 until 15 old have also become a smoker. “That shocker
again, the male adolescent directly increase,” said Nila.

The escalate of consuming cigarette can cause the increase of illness and mortality in
Indonesia. “The smoke behavior in Indonesia has killed almost 235 thousand people every
year,” said Nila. The mortality usually happen by productive people so that the young
generations have threatened destroy.

The revenue people will decline because they spend their money to buy cigarette. This
can cause the decrease expending for people’s requirements like education and healthy.

Considering the fact above, the impact of consuming cigarette is very damage for our
own, the others, and the nation. So, this uncontrolled smokers should be decrease
immediately by both the government and citizens. By controlling the untilizing of tobacco
with increase the tobacco tax, the rotation cigarette will can be restricted so that the smokers
will decrease.
