/ HelioDrive Introduction

/ 1
Who we are ?

/ =

> 100-year-old French company known globally for applications based

on paraffin wax technology.
> Global supplier for automotive, aerospace and sanitary industrial applications.
> Current manufacturing in France, USA and China.

/ =

> Inventor of HelioDrive Technology.

> Technology created in 2013, globally patented
> Based out of Colorado, USA
> www.sulasindustries.com

/ 2
Issues with Electronic trackers

/ High purchase Cost.

/ Expensive to Install.

/ Complex and costly

ongoing maintenance.
/ 3
Our solution

/ What we don’t have / What we do have

> Electronics > Autonomous power (sun)

> Sensors > One moving part

> Software > Quick installation and

deployment
> Wiring
> Disaster resistant (floods,
> Electrical power used lightning, wind etc…)

/ 4
Introduction to the HelioDrive

/ Receiver : Contains engineered

paraffin wax as thermal actuator.

/ Concentrator : Tracking
logic using parabolic
concentration optics.

/ Mechanical Assembly :
Turns linear motion into
rotation torque & part of
tracking logic.

/ 5
What the HelioDrive replaces

/ Typical electronic horizontal single

axis tracker (de-centralized design)
> Motor
> Slew drive
> Solar Panel and battery pack
> Software

/ HelioDrive based horizontal

single axis tracker
(de-centralized design)
> HelioDrive
> Drive system to each row

/ 6
Paraffin wax technology

/ The HelioDrive is a paraffin wax

based technology

/ High force/torque from small

device

/ Used in the automotive

industry for over 80 years

/ Reliable, inexpensive, and

accurate enough

Potential Market

/ The Market

> Of the three possible solar markets, residential,

industrial & commercial (C&I), and utility, we
believe the HelioDrive is prime to enter the
C&I ground mount market.

> We believe this market is currently underserved

for a tracking solution and will be more accepting
of a new and innovative product such as the
HelioDrive.

/ 10
Potential customers

/ Vernet and Sulas are currently looking to work with :

> Solar racking companies actively pursuing to enter growing and lucrative solar
tracker market, however might not want to deal with electronics
> Companies looking for a better and innovative tracking solution that is cost
effective with low O&M

/ 11
HD Configuration

> Currently the HD50 HelioDrive model is being commercialized which is the
perfect product to drive a single de-centralized row of up to 90 solar panels
(see picture below)
> A properly designed rack system is necessary to achieve this and why we want
to work with a racking company to create this product.
