III. FILTER DESIGN USING MICROSTRIP LINES
Order 5 5
There are various topologies to implement microstrip BPFs
Z0 = ZL 1 50 filters [6], [2], [7]. In this paper the interest is focused on
C1’ = 27.15 pF parallel coupled. Figure 9 represents the generalized structure
for microstrip coupled line filter.
g1 C1 = 1.7508 L1’ = 0.1619 nH
L2’ = 48.94 nH A. Lumped to Coupled-Line Transformation
g2 L2 = 1.2296 C2’ = 0.0898 pF The equations for designing microstrip BPF with N + 1
C3’ = 40.45 pF coupled line sections are as follows:
g3 C3 = 2.5408 L3’ = 0.1087 pF
L4’ = 48.94 nH 1. For 1st coupling
g4 L4 = 1.2296 C4’ = 0.0898 pF
C5’ = 27.15 pF (5)
g5 C5 = 1.7058 L5’ = 0.1619 nH
2. For intermediate coupling MCLIN microstrip line is selected. Figure 10 shows design of
