THIS PATTERN IS SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH BEGINNER CROCHET SKILLS AND HAVE
KNOWLEDGE OF MAGIC RING/CIRCLE, CROCHETING IN SPIRALS, CHAIN, SINGLE
CROCHET, DOUBLE CROCHET, SINGLE CROCHET INCREASE AND INVISIBLE DECREASE,
BASIC SEWING TECHNIQUES.

Marker – it is the mark of the beginning of the row - i.e. the place, where ends one row
and begins the next one.
I use a thin contrast thread as a marker. The marker is thrown in the process of
crocheting from the right side to the wrong side and from the wrong side to the right
side and is placed between the last stitch of one row and the first stitch of the next row.
As a rule the toys are crocheted in a spiral: without sl st and ch. At the same time the
beginning of the row moves to the right step by step. That’s why it is necessary to align
the marker.
In the description of the details I point the place where the marker should go, for
example, along the middle of the back part of the leg.
As soon as you’ve noticed that the marker moved from the middle, you should crochet
a shift stitch.
I.e. you crochet the row to the end and crochet the first stitch of the next row, and put
the marker here. The number of stitches in the row is the same!

*I advice to crochet the legs simultaneously. Crochet one
foot, crochet the second one right away. Then the gauge
appeared to be similar and the legs will be of the equal
size

Put the crocheted foot on a sheet of a cardboard and

outline it with pencil.
Step 2 mm inside from the contour and draw one more
contour. Cut the cardboard along the inner contour.
The received template should be a little bit smaller than
the foot.
Take a plastic, fix a cardboard template on a plastic with
the help of the a sticky tape and cut out the insole

Try on the insole. If necessary you can cut it a little

Take a wire
Cut a piece approx. 25 cm ( 9.84 inches) long
Make a loop approx. 2 cm ( 0.8 inches) long at the end of
a wire
With the help of an adhesive plaster fix this loop on the
insole

marker here. The marker should go along the middle of
the back of the leg
Change the color to the light green
