Please note:
The patterns for the girl and the boy are
identical, the only difference is yarn color
change in the body (for the girl ).

Final size of the hares is about 30 cm tall.


The size without the ears length is about 25
cm.

Crochet the head:
Start working in white yarn color (this step is identical for the boy and for the
girl too).
Now a running stitch marker will go through the side line, you will shift it later.
1. Make ch20, crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook: INC, 17 SC, 3 SC into
one stitch, continue into the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain:

It is time to shift the beginning of the round: crochet 14 more SC from the
stitch marker and move it here, new round will start here in the middle of back

Change the yarn to main color: for the boy use grey yarn (code 80), for the girl –

Crochet the ears:
Make 2 start in pink color (and for the boy and for the girl too).
Work in flat rows.
1. Make ch17 and crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook HDC INC, 14 HDC, 3
HDC into one stitch , continue working into the unused loops on the opposite
side of the chain 14 HDC , HDC INC (35), continue working in flat rows.
2. Ch1, turn the work, 1 HDC, HDC INC, 14 HDC, 3 HDC INC, 14 HDC , HDC INC ,
1 HDC (40)
Change the yarn main color (grey or beige).
1. Ch1, 17 HDC, (1 HDC, INC)3, 17 HDC (43)
Now repeat the pattern to crochet two more identical parts, work in main yarn
color only (grey or beige).
Now put two parts together and crochet SC in the round, making INC in corners.
Fold the ear in half and crochet SC through the stitches of both sides as pictured.
Sew the ears on the 26th round.

Crochet the muzzle:
Work in white color.
1. Make ch7, crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook 5 SC , 3 SC into one
stitch , continue into the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain:

Sew the muzzle on rounds of the head from 4th to 11th, closer to the eyes.

Crochet the nose:
Work in pink yarn color (20).
1. Make ch5 and crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook 3 SC, 3 SC into 1 stitch,
continue working into the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain 2 SC,
INC and make SL ST.
Sew the nose on the 5th round.
Embroider black line down from the nose.

Crochet the bangs:


Work in main yarn color, grey or beige.
Make ch5 and crochet 4 SC from the 2nd stitch from hook, now make ch5 again
and crochet the same way, repeat 3 times.
Sew the bangs on the 25th round.

H ead details:
If you glue the eyes, place pins to do sculpting.
Place 1 pin in the 12th round, then go 2 stitches up and two more stitches to the side and
place pins.
If you use safety eyes you already installed them between the 12th and the 13th rounds
with the distance 4 stitches between the eyes, so do sculpting closer to the eyes.
SCULPTING VIDEO (just click the word “video”).
When sculpting is done, glue the eyes, embroider white and thin black stripes to make
the eyes more expressive, glue the lashes (for the girl only).
EMBROIDER A STRIPE (VIDEO) (just click the word “video”).
Step 2 or 3 stitches up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows grabbing about 4 or
5 stitches with the distance 5 or 6 stitches between the eyes.
Add rosy cheeks (tint them).

Crochet the tail:
Work in grey color.
I do not crochet the tail for the girl because she is wearing the dress.
1. Start 6 SC in a MR(6)

Crochet the arms:
Start in main yarn color (grey or beige).
Fingers: make 4.

1. Make SL ST to connect the third and the second fingers, crochet 4 SC along
the 2nd finger, now crochet SL ST to connect the first finger, crochet 7 SC
along the 1st finger, now make 3 SC along the 2nd finger and 7 SC along the 3rd
one (do not crochet any stitches into SL ST).

3. 19 SC, leave 2 SC unused and connect the forth finger, work through stitches
on one side of the finger and grabbing one side of the hand 4 SC, 17 SC.
4. 2 SC INC, continue working on the opposite side of the 4 th finger, 17 SC (21)
5. (5 SC, DEC)3 (18), install chenille wire into each finger and twist all pipe
cleaners together as pictured. Now stuff the hand.

Change the yarn to the sweater color (for the boy: alternate3 rounds light blue
/ 3 rounds in dark-blue, for the girl in pink color only Cotton gold tweed by
Alize (code 518).

For the right arm: repeat the arm pattern except for the 3 rd round.
3. Crochet 3 more SC from stitch marker to shift the beginning of the round,
now new round will start here, connect the 4th finger, crochet 4 SC through
stitches on one side of the finger and grabbing one side of the hand, 17 SC.

And later in the 8th round you do not need to crochet extra stitches to shift
yarn color change, you will need to change yarn color to sweater color simply.

Crochet the legs:
Work in white color (and for the boy and for the girl too).

Stuff the leg.
Now focus on the photos: from the beginning of the foot on right side line attach
main yarn color.
Work in round, make INC from both sides where you made ch.

Total stitch number: 16 stitches.

Step 3 SC counterclockwise from stitch marker (which is on the right side line)
of the 1st leg and place additional stitch marker.
On the 2nd leg: crochet 9 more SC from stitch marker and make ch8, crochet SL
ST to connect two legs in the place where you attach additional stitch marker
(you connect the legs in the back). Place a running stitch marker here and new
round will start here.

Crochet the body:
1-2. 48 SC
3. 12 SC, (1 SC, INC)8, 20 SC (56), the increases should go through the middle of
the belly.

For the boy: change the yarn to the sweater color, alternate 3 rounds in light

Crochet the pants:
Work in blue color(17).
Make 2 pant legs.
1. Make ch27, connect the round
2-7. 27 SC
Make SL ST to connect two parts and work in the round. Crochet SC into SL ST from
each side. 27+1+27+1=56
1-11. 56 SC
12. 51 SC, make ch10, skip 5 SC of the round and 5 more SC in next round and connect
the chain into the 6th stitch, as a result, you made an opening for the tail.
13-18. 56 SC
Crochet suspenders:
Make ch38 and crochet 37 HDC from the 2nd stitch from hook.
Make 2.
Now sew suspenders on the pants and sew 2 buttons in front.
Also it may help to cuff the bottom of the pants as pictured.

Crochet the tie:
Work in red yarn color.
Work in flat rows, making ch1 at the beginning of each row.
1. ch2, crochet INC from the 2nd stitch from hook (2)

Crochet SC in the round, making INC in corners.
Central part
1. ch11 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet 10 SC
2. 10 SC , sew central part on the tie as pictured.
Now make ch23 and crochet 22 SC from the 2nd stitch from hook, sew the tie in
the middle and then sew finished tie on the neck of the hare. Don\‘t share!

Crochet chamomiles:
Start working in yellow yarn color.
1. 6 SC into a MR (6)

3. 9 SC into BLO
Change the yarn to green color.

12. ch4 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet HDC INC, 2 SC, now
continue working in the round of the stem 6 SC, you made a leaf.
13-19. 6 SC
20. 3 SC, ch4 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet HDC INC, 2 SC , now
continue working in the round of the stem 3 SC, you made one more leaf.

27. Make decreases to close the opening, do not stuff.

Now crochet the petals.
Work into the unused loops of the 3rd round in white color, insert hook from top
to bottom.
Make ch5 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet HDC INC, HDC, 2 SC, now
work SC into the nearest stitch and make ch5 again and repeat the same steps to
the end of the round.

Crochet 3 chamomiles, then make ch75 in red yarn color, tie knots from both
sides and wrap the chain around the flowers.

Crochet the dress:
Work into the unused front loops of the 25th round in pink yarn color.
Insert hook from top to bottom.
1. 15 HDC , (1 HDC, INC)6, 13 HDC (46) INC go through the middle of front part.

Attach yellow yarn color Cotton gold tweed by Alize 643, and now you will alternate
3 rounds pink/ 3 rounds yellow.

Now crochet around into BLO of the 15th round, insert hook from top to bottom.

Now work SL ST into the unused front loops of the 15 th round in pink yarn color.
Insert hook from top to bottom.

Crochet the collar


Work in yellow yarn color, insert hook from top to bottom.
Insert crochet hook right in the middle and crochet SC, DC, 3 DC into one stitch,
DC, HDC, SC, 16 SL ST , SC, HDC, DC, 3 DC into one stitch, DC, SL ST into the 1 st
stitch.
Sew a small yellow button in the middle.

Crochet the bows:
Make 2 yellow bows.
Into a MR make ch4, 4 TR, ch4, SL ST, ch4, 4 TR, ch4 , SL ST and pull the
ring closed.
Wrap pink yarn color in the middle.
Sew the bows on the head as pictured.

Crochet a little bunny toy:
Work in cotton yarn by Kamteks 055 (or Jeans by YarnArt any pink color).
Size 2.25 mm crochet hook (or 2.0 mm).
Crochet from top to bottom.
1. 6 SC into a MR (6)

3. (1 SC, INC)6 (18) Install safety eyes d. 6mm in the 16th round
4. (2 SC, INC)6 (24) with the distance 2 stitches between the eyes.

Crochet the ears:
Make 2 in pink yarn color.
1. Make ch9 and crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook SL ST, 1 SC, 5 HDC, 3
HDC into one stitch , continue working into the unused loops on the opposite
side of the chain 5 HDC, 1 SC, SL ST
Sew the ears between the 20th and 21st rounds.
Crochet the legs:
Make 4 in pink yarn color.
1. 7 SC into a MR (7)
2-5. 7 SC (7) Don\‘t share!
6. Put together and crochet 3 SC through the stitches of both sides, sew the
front legs on the 11th round.
Sew the back legs between the 4th or the 5th rounds.

Now embroider white and thin black stripes to make the eyes more expressive.
Embroider the nose on the 15th round grabbing 2 stitches and a short black
line down from the nose.

Step 1 stitch up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows with the distance
2 or 3 stitches between them. It may help to embroider a belly button on the
5th round, as pictured.
Add rosy cheeks (tint them).

Crochet the scarf:


I choose Cotton by Kamteks, you may take your favorite yarn.
Make ch70 and tie knots from both sides.
