Recommended materials and tools:
1. Half of a yarn ball green color Cotton Gold by Alize 35
2. Half of a yarn ball yellow color Jeans by YarnArt 67
3. Some white yarn color Jeans by YarnArt 63
4. Some red (90) and pink (36) colors Jeans by YarnArt

10. Size 2,25 mm (or 2 mm) crochet hook
Abbreviations (US crochet terms):
MR – magic ring
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
INC – increase (make 2 stitches into 1 stitch)
DEC – decrease (close 2 stitches together)
SL ST – slip stitch
TR- treble crochet
BLO – back loops only
 Crochet the arms:
Start working in green yarn color.
1. Start 6 sc in a MR(6)
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (1 sc , inc)6 (18)
4. 18 sc into BLO
5-6. 18 sc
7. (4 sc , dec)3 (15), stuff, do not remained part
of an arm.
Change the yarn to yellow.

9-10. 12 sc
Attach white yarn color and alternate: 1 round white/ 3 rounds yellow.
11-18. 12 sc.
19. Put the arm together and crochet 6 sc through the stitches of both sides.
Embroider whites stitches as pictured.

 Crochet the muzzle:
Work in green yarn color.
1. Make ch7, crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook: 5 sc , 3 sc into 1
stitch, continue into the unused loops on the opposite side of the

Sew the muzzle close to the eyes.
Add stuffing as you go.
Use thin black thread to embroider
the nostrils along the muzzle on the 2nd
or the 3rd rounds with the distance
3-4 stitches.
 Crochet the bangs:
1. Make ch7 and crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook: 6 sc, after
that make ch7 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet 6sc again
and repeat one time, as a result, you made 3 hair strands.
2. Sew the bangs on the 2nd round of the head.
 Assembly and details:
If you glue the eyes, as I do, place pins in the 13-14th rounds with the
distance 6-7 stitches between the pins, then step 2 stitches up and 2
more stitches to the side.
Make head sculpting.
HEAD SCULPTING VIDEO (click the word “video” simply).
Now embroider the whites and make 2 thin black stripes to make the
eyes more expressive.
Now step 2 stitches up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows with
the distance 8 stitches between the eyebrows, grabbing 2-3 stitches.
Crochet the cheeks.
Make 2.
Start 7 sc in a MR, Sl ST.
Sew on both sides of the head.
 Crochet the shell:
Work in brown yarn color.
1. Start 6 sc in a MR(6)
Work into back loops only.
1. 6 inc (12)
2. (1 sc, inc)6 (18)
3. (2 sc, inc)6 (24)
4. (3 sc, inc)6 (30)
5. (4 sc, inc)6 (36)

Continue working into both loops.

Now make ch21 on top part and make SL ST to fasten off. Repeat the
same for the opposite side. As a result, you made 2 straps.

Attach beige yarn color and crochet sl st in the round, work into the
unused front loops to decorate the shell.
 Crochet a bow tie:
Work in red yarn color.
1. Make ch5 in a MR, now crochet 2 tr, ch5, sc, ch5, 2 tr, ch5, sc. Pull
the MR closed.
2. Now wrap white yarn in the middle of the bow tie.
3. Sew on the 23rd round.
