Abbreviations

Magic ring
st : stitch
ch : chain
sl.st: slip stitch
sc : single crochet
hdc : half double
crochet
dc : double crochet

inc : increase (2 sc or dc in one stitch)

dec : decrease (2 sc or dc crochet together)

The numbers between parenthesis at the end of a round, gives you the number of
stitches once crochetet that round .

What is in parenthesis should be repeated as many times as noted, (1sc, inc)X6,

means that you have to crochet 1sc and 1 inc and repeat it 6 times.

Invisible decrease
Decreases are made in all dolls, and are sometimes quite showy. Here is the technique I use to
make them as invisible as possible.
The classic decreases are made by crocheting in the whole stitch. To make an invisible
decrease, you only take the front loops.
Start with crochet the first stitch in de FLO.
Then, without making a yo, crochet in the FLO from the next stitch.

Yo and pull through the first two loops on the hook. Yo and pull through the first two loops on
the hook. Yo and pull through the last two stitches on the hook.

Now you have made an invisible decrease

At the back where you made the decrease, you will see a horizontal line.
