    bigger output force.  
    Inclined Plane  An inclined plane 
    has a sloping surface 
    that helps raise 
    heavy objects. The 
    steeper the 
    slope/incline the 
    more force is   
    required.  

    Wheel and Axle  The machine 


    amplifies force. It is 
    used for raising and 
    lifting weights. Its   
    use is very well 
    known for any type 
    of vehicle and 
    doorknobs.  

    Screw   The screw is put in a 


    rotational spin that 
    leads to a linear 
    motion and finally a 
    linear force.
