CONCURRING THE MUNICIPALITY OF LINAMON, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL NORTE

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 06-05 SERIES OF 2020 ENTITLED: “AN ORDER IMPLEMENTING A
PREVENTIVE LOCKDOWN IN PUROK 6 WEST SIDE, POBLACION, LINAMON, LANAO DEL
NORTE FROM JUNE 5, 2020 AND SHALL BE LIFTED UNTIL THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH
OFFICER ADVISE SO, TO CURB THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)”

WHEREAS, on 15 June 2020, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved Resolution
No. 46-A, placing Region 10 under Modified General Community Quarantine
(MGCQ) beginning 16 June 2020 until 30 June 2020 (Item A.1.c.ii);

WHEREAS, Item A.5 of the same IATF resolution further provides that all provinces,
HUCs, and ICCs shall observe the enforcement of minimum public health
standards, especially uniform implementation in high-risk areas such as
healthcare settings, wet markets, supermarkets, government offices, and
workplaces, among others, and that localized community quarantine in
priority/critical areas with community transmission should have concurrence
of the RIATF;

WHEREAS, on 04 June 2020, a returning resident of Purok 6 West Side, Poblacion of

Linamon who arrived in the Municipality was tested positive for COVID-19 per
swab test result from Manila;

WHEREAS, the said returning resident of Purok 6, Poblacion was allowed entry at the
Poblacion Quarantine checkpoint after allegedly presenting complete travel
documents and was advised to proceed to the Office of the Health Services
(OHS) to comply with Balik Lanorte Protocol;

WHEREAS, upon arrival at the OHS, said resident was advised to go home and return
early morning of the following day for a thorough examination by the Municipal
Health Officer;

WHEREAS, upon confirmation that said returning resident is positive with COVID-19,
the Municipality of Linamon imposed preventive measure by way of preventive
lockdown to limit or prevent possible transmission of Corona Virus considering
that the returning resident may have close and direct contact with families and
neighbors prior knowing that he tested positive for COVID-19.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, on a motion duly
seconded, to concur the Municipality of Linamon, Province of Lanao del Norte
Executive Order No. 06-05 series of 2020 entitled: “An Order Implementing a
Preventive Lockdown in Purok 6 West Side, Poblacion, Linamon, Lanao del
Norte from June 5, 2020 and Shall be Lifted Until the Municipal Health Officer
Advise so, to Curb the Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID 19)”;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to recommend to the Municipality of Linamon, Lanao del Norte

to lift the preventive lockdown because of zero positive cases in the
municipality per latest assessment report by the Department of Health and that
preventive lockdown should only last for fourteen (14) days.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
President, Inter-Agency Task Force-National Task Force (IATF-NTF),
National/Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils, central
and regional offices of the member-agencies indicated above, members of the
Northern Mindanao Regional Task Force for COVID-19 and its Task Groups,
RDC-X, RPOC 10, the local government units, and other concerned stakeholders
for their guidance, support, and appropriate action.
