PROJECT LIST FOR THE BARANGAY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (BDP) AND
COORDINATE WITH SECTORAL AGENCIES TO
COUNTERCHECK PROJECTS SIMILAR TO THE
BDP PROJECT MENU

In view of the approval of the budget for the Barangay Development
Program (BDP) and its integration in the FY 2021 National Expenditure
Program, the Department, together with the NTF-ELCAC and the
Department of Budget and Management (DBM) agreed to fast track all the
necessary preparations needed for the implementation of the BDP.

The EO70 Localization PMO already consolidated and summarized all the
project lists that were submitted by the Regional Offices. Per initial
summary, several barangays had issues with regard to the budget and
project menu set forth by the DBM and the NTF ELCAC respectively.

In this regard, you are hereby requested to review all project list and
ensure that the projects are compliant with the menu under the National
Expenditure Program FY2021 and the Php20M budget allocation for each
barangay. For your reference, attached is the list of barangays that are
yet to submit their project list as well as those that went over and below
the Php20M budget and those whose projects were outside the menu.

Also, in preparation for the release of funds on the 1st quarter of FY2021,
the Department wants to guarantee that double-funding will not occur in
relation to the programs, projects, and activities of other government
agencies. Thus, we hereby request the Regional Offices and Provincial
Offices to coordinate with their counterparts in the following sectoral
agencies and verify whether the barangays will be receiving the same
project from these agencies in 2021:

concerned, the said barangay shall be notified and advised to remove the
said project from its project list and choose instead other items in the
menu.

It is further requested that the final list of projects, taking into consideration
the above observations, be submitted to the EO70 PMO by December 15,
2020.
