CRITERIAS
IGBC RATING SYSTEMS:
Green building rating brings together a host of sustainable practices and solutions
to reduce the environmental impacts. Green building design provides an integrated
approach considering life cycle impacts of the resources used.

An important development in the growth of green building movement in India is the


launch of the following IGBC Green Building Rating Systems:

IGBC GREEN HOMES IGBC GREEN RESORT RATING

IGBC GREEN INTERIORS IGBC GREEN RESIDENTIAL SOCIETIES

IGBC GREEN HEALTHCARE IGBC GREEN HEALTH & WELLBEING


IGBC GREEN SCHOOLS IGBC GREEN FACTORY BUILDINGS

IGBC GREEN DATA CENTRE IGBC GREEN AFFORDABLE HOUSING

IGBC GREEN CAMPUS IGBC GREEN VILLAGES

IGBC GREEN TOWNSHIPS GOVT INCENTIVES TO IGBC PROJECTS


The Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government
of India, offers fast track environmental
clearance for green building projects which
are Precertified/ Provisionally Certified by
IGBC.

RENEWAL OF IGBC GREEN RATING

IGBC encourages 'Renewal of Green Building Rating' at the end of the validity. The
objective is to facilitate building owners & facility managers to enhance the green building
performance in the long run. The renewal process will facilitate the Green Buildings to
achieve further savings in terms of energy and water consumption.
