Kawasaki tries to upgrade recycle system and reduce carbon emission in Kawasaki Eco Town. Kawasaki starts
FS(Feasibility Study) to adapt IoT(Internet of Things) technologies for recycling industry in cooperation with NEC
Corporation, the enterprises in Kawasaki.
Measuring the emission rate by sensor and the system optimize the
route for wastes collection. Conventionally, garbage collection trucks ran < Garbage collection
their fixed routes regardless of whether there was an actual accumulation management service > Citizen
of garbage. Considering this matter, on garbage bins, sensors that
measure the amount of garbage in order to streamline the collection routes.
