Online Class Safety Statement

As learners and learning practitioner we all agree to the following which will keep our
online class safe and secure

It is important to log onto Teams at the correct time, if you log on

late this will distract the other members of the group. Contact your
tutor if you are unable to attend or have log in issues.

Remember to protect the confidentiality and privacy of your fellow

classmates, tutor and your family members. Find a quiet spot in your home
where there is no distractions have privacy to listen and partake in the class
work.

Turn off the microphone when you do not need it. It is important to
reduce background noise. The group can decide what forum to use to
ask a question.

Do not record any live classes. I also agree not to post any personal
details or take any screenshots. Never share personal information.

When taking part in discussions, remember to respect others

points of view, do not use profanities and be aware of your body
language.

We agree that 1-2-1’s will be organised by the tutor through private

chats and not to be held in public channels.

All photos are licenced for the re-use and sharing using creative commons forum.
Assignment will be submitted according to the LCETB and QQI regulations.

This online class safety statement is an active document, and can be revisited to
discuss or amend at any time.
