3.) What are some team buildings program you usually held for employees?

-team lunches/meals/get together with all staff


 The manager wanted to engage with all her employees. As a manager, she wanted to
develop relationships among her employees and create employee engagement. It can be
also a way that she could get to know them and it will be a key part to evaluate their
views and know whatever concerns they had in the workplace.

-out of town excursions and team gatherings


 The manager considered giving this out-of-town excursions program to her employees to
encourage better communication, sharing, and bonding between each other. It a way that
she considered that each one of the employees could create belongingness that they might
also bring in the workplace. As a manager, she wanted that all of her employees are
appreciated and always motivate them as they continuously reach the goals of their
company. 

-celebration of special events with team


 As a manager, she always makes sure that she could spend celebration of special events
with her staffs considering that they are part of any achievement of the company. These
special events include the founding anniversary of the company, holiday celebrations, etc.
She wanted to conduct these appreciation events to show her employees that they are
valued, and also as gratitude for their loyalty to the company.

-team training
 The manager always considers conducting employee training to expand the knowledge
base of all employees that can have a beneficial effect on the growth of the business. She
wanted that her employees are always aware of their roles and responsibilities in the
organization. According to her, team training is also a way to let her employees feel that
they are valued in the company.  

4.) What are the guidelines the company set for an effective and appraisal of performance?
-targets and KPI’s (key performance indicator (KPI) to measure performance and productivity

 The manager used targets and KPIs to analyze and measure any progress in achieving the
organization’s goal. She wanted always to set objectives and always monitor if the
operations and employees are on track. It will help her develop tactics and create
actionable steps to attain goals. 

-setting rules and regulations that can be a handbook to employees to follow and to ensure
organization in companies
 The manager ensures setting rules and regulations or business policies to direct her staff
in their daily operations. She makes sure that these policies will contribute to efficient
business processes and administer discipline in the workplace.

-position description of the job/role should be clear and smart achievable expectations should be
set
 The manager took into consideration positioning a clear job description of employees to
effectively provide direction to them about their tasks and duties in the company and
assurance on compliance with their responsibilities. She always set expectations based on
SMART objectives that will help them identify what the company focuses on and reach
their intended target effectively.
