local area, village, forests and/or nation.

Contributes to climate stability

One of the major buzz words of this era is Global Warming. Which is the main reason for flood, cyclone
other natural disaster. The main causes of global warming are increase of CO2 and CFC or other
greenhouse gases. Increase of this gas is due to the human activities including fossil fuel burning,
industrialization and reduction forest for habitation. Contributes to climate stability is one of the main
aspects of ecosystem services.

Contributes to Forest

Mangrove forest act like giant filters, the salt marsher and roots filter pollutants like pesticides,
herbicides, and harmful heavy metals. Mangrove forest also protect the habitation form cyclone. So
contribution to forest also another main aspect of ecosystem services.

How are these services endangered and what economic costs to society do you foresee with their loss?
Tree consume CO2 and release O2. Hence it reduces environmental CO2. Deforestation due to Human
activities and industrialization as well as increase of fuel burning also caused increase environmental CO2
. it increases global warming which is the main causes of climate changing.

What is one action that people could take to help protect these services?

Tree plantation and stop deforestation help to protects this ecosystem services.
