ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
MODULE 3A: DESIGNING INSTRUCTION IN THE DIFFERENT
LEARNING DELIVERY MODALITIES

Module 3A which is about DESIGNING INSTRUCTION IN THE DIFFERENT

LEARNING DELIVERY MODALITIES in which there the facilitators have prepared a prestation
and digital resources for our activities and discussion during our google meet. The Lac Session
happened las September 3 and started at exactly at 1:00 in the afternoon and ended at 5:00 in
the afternoon. In lesson 1 which is about understanding the different LDMs. I have
accomplished for this lesson different activities and participated actively in the discussion and
sharing of insights.
Lesson 1, I was able to give my own definition of the learning delivery modalities
prescribed by the LCP which are the face to face, distance learning, blended learning and home
schooling. In this lesson we focus our discussion on Distance Learning and its different types.
The facilitators discussed the key features and the roles of the teacher school and stakeholders
in distance learning. The types of distance learning are modular, online distance, TV/Radio
based instruction and blended distance learning in relation they have guidelines for
implementing this different type of distance learning in which there are non-negotiable and
minimum requirements for the types of distance learning. I also rank the different types of DL in
terms of their degree of difficulty to implement from the perspective of your School/Division and
my rank 1 was modular and the radio-based instruction is last in the ranking since it will be
difficult to process to have a radio broadcast in the area. I also identify some targeted
interventions for learners with special concerns to ensure inclusion in DL like the struggling
learners and suggested some supplemental activities as one of interventions.
Lesson 2, in this lesson, DO 42, s2016 was discussed which is about the guidelines on
daily lesson preparation. We tasked to identify what is lesson planning, its importance and the
three elements or components of a well-designed lesson. Lesson planning is an important
component in the teaching -learning process. It a step by step guide of the teacher that present
the framework of the learning competencies. Lesson designing is the blueprint of being a
productive teacher. It is essential because it guides the teacher in keeping a standard teaching
pattern and does not divert the class out of the topic. It has to be clearly articulated, well-
selected and appropriate and timely. We were also able to accomplished a table where we
enumerate learning tasks that can be incorporated in your DL lessons to ensure the
achievement of learning objectives. We were also tasked to answer a Venn diagram about the
similarities and differences of formative and summative assessment. I also selected some
formative and summative assessment tasks that can be incorporated in your lessons to provide
students with feedback and to help us monitor student’s learning even when you are teaching
remotely.

Lesson 3, which is about guiding and monitoring in the differentiated LDMs. The discussion
started about the Appendix D of DepEd Memorandum DM-CI-2020-00162. In this DepEd
Memorandum, the facilitators shown the template and how to make a Weekly Home Learning
Plans (WHLP) which will serve as a guide for your learners on what they need to accomplish
each week when they do independent study at home (DepEd, 2020). It outlines the learning
tasks that learners need to do, using the SLM, in order for them to attain the most essential
learning competencies (MELCs). The WHLP also trains learners to take responsibility for their
own learning as they follow the prescribed schedule in the plan. Remember also that part of
guiding learners is to give enhancement or remediation activities when needed and when
possible. I also created an Individual Learning Monitoring Plan where I am providing intervention
strategies for a certain period, the Individual Learning Monitoring Plan serves as the document
that will show if the learner has shown either mastery of the learning competencies, significant
progress, or insignificant progress.
There were a was a great deal discussions and activities in this module. There where
even arguments for we have our opinions ion which resulted to a clarity on the purpose of
creating WHLP and ILMP. In the end the session was ended with new knowledge that will be
used in this new normal in education.
