6. Teacher asks the pupils to listen first and repeat
after the teacher.
7. Teacher reviews the ending rhymes of the poems
which are coloured in yellow. For example:
school and cool
8. Teacher explains the meanings of each yellow-
coloured word.
9. Teacher reviews all the yellow-coloured words
once again.
10. Teacher asks the pupils “How do you go to
school?”
11. Teacher ensures the pupils’ understanding by
asking simple questions and eliciting simple
comments.
