c. Abstraction Key ideas:

 To control the traffic flow in the restaurant, the
greeter should avoid seating two groups of guests in
the same station at the same time.
 Parties should be seated in different stations so that
any one server is not overburdened and the guests
receive better service.
 The greeter should also stagger the seating of large
parties so that servers will have equal opportunities
to serve large groups without having too many of
these groups at one time.
 On a busy day, if there are a lot of guest- the
waiting-areas can be mini-destination areas where
guests enjoy first courses beverages before moving
into the dining room for the main course.
d. Application “Visualizing Concept”
 Divide the class into two groups
 Let every group collaborate or plan on a concept on
how to arrange chairs and tables for massive guest
through the use of sticks and manila paper.
 The parts and areas of the dining area should be
labeled properly.
