1. Download ModelSim PE Student Edition software in the link shown below:

2. You need to register first before you can download the software. But if you already have an existing
account just log in.

3. After your registration, you need to check your email to download the installer.

4. You will received a link to your registered email. Just click on the download link

5. Click the .exe file to install the software.

6. This is the set up environment of ModelSim. Click Next .

7. Click Yes. 8. Click Next.

13. After a successful installation, you will be redirected to this website. Please take note to fill-up all
the required fields. Also be sure to type your correct email address because the license file will be
sent to your email address.
Click Request License
when your done.

14. Check your email to download the license file and the final instruction. Download the
student_license.dat

15. See to it that

you copy or save
the license file in
the correct
directory to avoid
error during
simulation.
