For your paper that you turn in, answer the following questions and provide your graph:

1. How many seeds were in your initial pepper? This represents the first generation.

138

2. How many plants were alive in your pepper population after only 5 generations?

1.730076800225e34

3. Describe your graph in detail. Be sure to include whether it represents logistic or exponential growth
and describe what happens in each generation. It would be exponential growth because of how rapidly
they are growing. If it’s anything like human growth with each generation multiplying by itself It would
almost be taking over everything and anything creating chaos amongst other plants and livestock the
same.

4. Describe four or five environmental factors that might limit natural or wild populations (not
necessarily pepper plant populations).

Pick one lol you have overexplotation, climate change, habitat loss and habitat fragmentation

5. If a population were subjected to some of these environmental factors for a considerable length of
time, would you expect to see any changes in the population? Explain the changes or lack of change in
at least three full sentences.

I believe one would I mean its been talked about for ages if we keep growing at the rate we are with
global warming we are looking at polar caps melting. If we continue to exponentially grow we can look
at some animals natural habitat being extinct forest or jungles or land marshes. We could even come to
a point where we run out of animals to eat because they have nowhere to live we have taken over their
environment.
