Annapurna Base Camp Trek:

Annapurna region is one of the prominent and most trekked destination of Nepal. One of the most
famous trek in this area is the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The magical hike to Annapurna Base Camp
starts with a short drive from Pokhara city. Before the trek starts, spend a day observing the natural
beauty that exists in Pokhara. It’s a huge breath of fresh air from the dirtiness and seemingly never-
ending noise of Kathmandu. The first moment of the trail leads through mixed, subtropic forests. In the
springtime, the scorching red and pink rhododendrons are a sight to eyewitness. Soon after
Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we reach Annapurna Base Camp. Here, we are enclosed by Hiunchuli,
Annapurna South, Barahi Shikhar, Annapurna I, Tharpu Chuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and
Machhapuchhre. The trail climbs higher, above the tree line to the stony alpine landscape, figurative of
the Annapurna region

In reaching to Annapurna Base Camp, staying in Ghandruk for a couple of nights is an overwhelming
time during our trip. Ghandruk village is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. Surrounded by
beautiful attached agriculture fields, Ghandruk (at about 1,940 meters) is open to unbelievable views of
the Himalayas. Develop engrossed by the sight of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, along with a few
other rocky mountain tops. Walk around the twisting stone roads and narrow passages of Ghandruk
village. There are plenty of guest houses and good restaurants or tea house in the village with comfort,
and we’ll show you the best of the best. There are two famous and beautiful Gurung museums in the
village, both worth a visit. The first one is the Gurung Traditional Museum, which brags a protection
make from elephant skin along with many other reserves. Also, spend some time perusal the Old
Gurung Museum. You can trek the Annapurna Base Camp throughout the year. Although, the best
times to go on a trek to Annapurna Base Camp are during the spring (March to May) and autumn
(September to November) seasons. The weather is clear and pleasant with the clearest skies and
