TRIP OVERVIEW
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. It is
quite easy and shorter trek than other high-altitude treks in Nepal. This trek
incorporates diverse terrain, culture, and wildlife along with the most spectacular
and close up view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli.
TRIP ITINERARY
Day 01: Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu
Morning flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Stay at a hotel in Pokhara and have
sightseen during the afternoon after lunch. Stay at a hotel overnight.
Day 02: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Jhinu Danda 5-6 hours trek (Approx. 1700 m)
First, we drive to Nayapul via Pokhara Baglung highway. Your trekking start here
We walk along the countryside first and then through the thick forest. The first
section of the hike to Jhinu Danda is somewhat flat that takes 5 to 6 hours.
After breakfast, we will start our final destination the ABC (4130m). After a short
break and Lunch at the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), we will again continue
our trek to reach our destination the Annapurna Base Camp (4,131m). It will take
total of five to six hours to reach our destination. We will walk along the MBC to
reach there. The ABC is two hours walk from the MBC. On reaching Annapurna
Base Camp, from where you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the
Himalayas all around. We will spend the night at a local guest house.
After spending some unforgettable hours with the mountains, we will hike down to
Sinuwa. It is around 7-8 hours walk. We will return following the same trail. We will
spend the night in a local guesthouse at Sinuwa.
Day 07: Trek to Siwai (1,200 m) and drive to Pokhara 3-4 treks and 2 hours’ drive
In the morning we will hike to reach Siwai. From Sinuwa, and following the stone
steps to Lower Chomrong. Then we will climb up thousand stone steps to reach
Upper Chhomrong. Then, we will descend through the steep trail to Jhinu Danda
moving towards Siwai. At Siwai, we will take a jeep drive to Pokhara and stay at a
hotel overnight.
Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) during the trek
Trekking lodge twin sharing accommodations during the trek
Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) entry permit & Tourist
Information Management System (TIMS) permits
Flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu and return
English speaking guide with all his salary, food, drinks, accommodation,
transport and insurance
A Strong, helpful porter with proper equipment (one porter for two people)
Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available)
Two nights’ hotel in Pokhara with Breakfast
Government taxes and official expenses
Guide and potters’ insurance
TRIP EXCLUDES
The cost of the tour will come to be US $ 975 per person. This will provide you an
excellent service. It is the cost for a group of 1-5 person(s). If the group size goes up,
the cost will slightly come down.
