PhilSCAT 3rd Annual Convention & Christmas Party

Dear Friends,
PhilSCAT is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the upliftment of the status of TESDA
trainers and assessors in the country. PhilSCAT thus strives to provide its members with a
context that encourages them to better plan and pursue their careers in training and
assessment. In addition, PhilSCAT seeks to make available to its members opportunities for
them to improve their lives.
As rewarding a profession as training and assessment may be, this past year has shown the
members of PhilSCAT that training and assessment is not immune from the effects of a
worldwide financial crisis and its accompanying recession. This year, then, PhilSCAT’s 3rd
annual convention has for its theme – Enterprising Trainers: Income Augmentation
Strategies – a call for those in the profession to look forward with enthusiasm and initiative to
a rewarding 2011.
PhilSCAT’s 3rd annual convention shall be held at Richville Hotel, along EDSA, across from
EDSA Central, near Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. The affair will start at 8:00am and
end at 5:00pm of December 14, 2010. The registration fee to be charged is one thousand
pesos (PhP1000.00), inclusive of membership fee for year 2011. All trainers and assessors
who have successfully completed the AM1+TM1 training program and corresponding national
assessments are qualified to be members of this society and are welcome to attend this
convention.
Each attendee is required to confirm his intended attendance by sending an e-mail message
to either rra_2000@yahoo.com or mgmendenilla@yahoo.com or by sending a text
message to 0919-8062816, preferably on or before 2010 November 30.
