RESOLUTION NO. 2023-004

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR EMMYLOU

“LALA” TALIÑO-MENDOZA TO CAUSE THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 500,000.00) FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE PROVINCIAL PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION
FEDERATION OF COTABATO.

WHEREAS, the Provincial Parents Teachers Association Federation (PPTAF) is an

essential organization dedicated to facilitating cooperation between parents, teachers, and
educational authorities for the betterment of the educational system and the students it serves;

WHEREAS, the PPTAF plays a pivotal role in uniting parents and teachers to actively
participate in shaping the educational landscape of out province, contributing significantly to the
holistic development of students;

WHEREAS, the PPTAF serves a the Platform for the exchange of ideas, concerns, and
insights between parents, teachers, and school administration thus facilitating better cooperation
and understanding which directly impacts the quality of education provided to our students;

WHEREAS, the PPTAF advocates for the interest and welfare of students ensuring that
their needs and concerns are effectively addressed;

WHEREAS, the availability of financial resources is critical for the efficient operation
and activities of the PPTAF enabling them to continue their vulnerable work within the Province
of Cotabato;

WHEREAS, the PPTA Federation relies on financial support to carry out its activities
and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall education experience and well-being of students;

WHEREAS, the allocation of funds to the PPTA Federation will enable them to continue
their essential work, benefiting not only students but also parents, teachers and the broader
community;
WHEREAS, the operation of the PPTAF requires financial support to carry out its
essential activities;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Mr. Rodolfo D. Alba, II , duly seconded by Mr.

Danilo N. Franco;

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the undersigned, humbly request Honorable Governor

Emmylou “LALA’ Taliño-Mendoza to cause the allocation of funds in the amount of Five
Hundred Pesos (Php 500,000.00) to support the operation and activities of the Provincial Parents
Teachers Association Federation (PPTAF).

RESOLVED FURTHER that this financial support will not only benefit the PPTAF but
also contribute to the continued improvement of the educational landscape within the province,
and these allocated funds shall be utilized for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to:

1. Organizing and hosting of meetings, workshop, and events.

2. Supporting advocacy efforts to improve the educational system.
3. Initiating projects and programs aimed at enhancing student outcomes.
4. Enabling the PPTF to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers
and school administrators.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that the disbursement of these funds shall be overseen

by the PPTAF, which shall provide transparency and accountability in managing the allocated
budget;

RESOLVE FINALLY that this resolution be presented to the Honorable Governor

Emmylou “LALA” Taliño-Mendoza for her kind consideration and favorable action in support
of the Provincial Parents Teachers Association Federation (PPTAF).
