Idea

Idea outline:

My production is to create a guitar, that will be visually compelling, showing o its

components.

Idea detail:
In my production I will be building a guitar. Guitar are visually compelling objects,
beautiful in their own way. My production will be based around the creation of this
guitar and how I came up with the idea, of making a guitar. I decided I wanted to
build a guitar after watching the release of Fenders 2021 line up. I saw that they
released an acoustic version of the telecaster and Stratocaster, and they were
charging nearly £2000 for this, almost niche guitar. I thought to myself the this was
ridiculous, and that I could build a guitar with similar looks for much cheaper. This
made me think, what if I could build a similar guitar for less that has much more
versatility. I will be collaborating with my mate for this project, as for his product
design course he is creating a modular pick-up mount. Within my video I will be
showing o his product as I can work it into my design. Having him as my client
helps with the production as I will be able to have better communication with him
as a client which will enable me to create a better production. The showing o of
his production will come nearer the end of the production, when I am pricing the
guitar together. Through the whole production I will be jumping in-between
narrative and piece to camera, with the narrative having b-roll of me putting the
guitar together under it.
