 Petitioned local city council to improve a troublesome roadway on Echo Ave. in Seaside,
CA
 Conducted research to pinpoint problematic areas, number of “jay walkers”, and total
usage of the roadway
 Aided city workers to design and plan the installment of the road improvements
including an extended sidewalk or “bump-out” and crosswalk
 Organized “Seaside Community Day” which included local organizations and vendors to
highlight road improvements and collect input from residents
Plastic Upcycling Research, CSU Fullerton Summer of 2020
 Conducted literature review of multiple recycling technologies, government aid
programs, economic markets, potential harms, and legislation involving plastic waste
