SECTION A – 30 MARKS

Write a composition on one of the following topics. Your answer should be

between 350 – 450 words in length.

1. Describe an incident that angered everyone in your neighborhood and

what you did to put matters right.

2. Write a story entitled:

Either a). It was all a dreadful mistake

Or b). Hard work rewarded!

NB: You will be penalized if you repeat a story which you have encountered
elsewhere.

3. Do you think that school children should be forced to wear uniforms?

4. The faithful dog.

5. Write about the benefits you have derived from attending your present
school.

6. Superstition.

7. Write a description of a local shop in your area and the activities that take
place there.
Section B

8. The pie chart below shows what happened to the students of Ludo
Secondary School after completing O’ Level at the end of 1995. Using the
pie chart, write a report describing and giving reasons for the distribution
pattern of the post O’ Level students. Your reasons might include
reference to the school’s O level success rate, possible factors influencing
the decisions to repeat O’ Levels, and the availability of jobs for school
leavers.
