Three years ago, I attended Medieval Festival. It is a three-day festival which is

held at the Seat Fortress from Suceava, which is a city from northern Romania.
The festival starts on the 15th August and continues till the 18th August.

Preparations start before the actual event. People prepare their fancy
costumes, practice their dance steps and put up decorations at the place where
the festival will be held.

I joined the people lining the streets to watch the parades. I was greeted by a
lot of knights with horses, ladies, witches, puppets from the country and from
Serbia, Hungary, Turkey, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova with their amazing
dances and medieval music. There are a wide variety of exciting activities such
as pantomime, theater, archery competitions, bird hunting, and more
competitions for children. You can also find there workshops with medieval
gastronomy, textile art, blacksmithing, leather, carpentry, calligraphy, and
magic workshops. In the evening, we had brilliant fire show and medieval
animations.

It was a thrilling festival full of surprises and I had a wonderful time! I’m sure
everyone will remember it for a long time .
