Second Angel’s Message

Revelation 14:8

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city,
because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

INTRO

A study by the University of Oxford in 1985 showed that consumption of alcohol caused the
shrinkage of the hippocampus, the region in our brain used for reasoning and memory. It was
found out in that study that the amount of shrinkage in the hippocampus was related to the
amount people drank. Another study by the Harvard University also showed similar results,
revealing that the shrinkage was greater even in light and moderate drinkers than those who
don't drink.
