After reading the autobiography and watching the Video-biography of Gregoria de Jesus, I

learned she married Andres Bonifacio despite her father being against it at first then after she
became a member of the KKK (Kataastaasan Kagalanggalangang Katipunan) and served as the
keeper of the significant and confidential documents and weaponry. After the death of Bonifacio,
she met Julio Nakpil, and they fell in love and married. Both the autobiography and the Video-
biography contained similar information and introduction on Gregoria although the
autobiography was more in-depth in narrating the events that transpired while the Video-
biography relayed only the important events that happened. Although the Video-biography had
limited information and points, it was engaging and more entertaining compared to the
autobiography. While the autobiography was more descriptive and detailed in narrating
Gregoria's circumstances and enabled me to know more about what happened after Bonifacio's
death since it wasn't tackled in the Video-biography. The primary source is the autobiography as
the information written is from Gregoria de Jesus herself which is why it is more reliable
compared to the Video-biography that is a tertiary source since the information shown was
already summarized. In the autobiography, Gregoria narrated and described other people who
seemed to have been misunderstood such as Macario Sakay who was considered a bad man that
became a bandit but she defended him and said that he was a true patriot and helped in the cause
of KKK.
