Things I would do in Japan while participating in JENESYS and how I can share and utilize the experience after

return

Japan, the land of the rising sun has always been a role model for the other countries of the world for its contribution to
technology, ultra-modern cities, rich culture, and cuisine. For me and many people, this is the country of their dreams .

I always had a special type of attraction towards this nation since my childhood. This is the country where one can find
modernism with reach culture. Still, there is no clash between them. This is the country which is a dream destination for
travelers all around the world for its beauty, reach culture and hi-tech invention. Tokyo in spite of being one of the most
advanced cities in the world has a quite bit of countryside which proves how people have advanced in japan without leaving
their culture and heritage.

Japanese people always had a special place in the heart of the people from overseas because of their discipline, behavior,
and politeness. People in Japan are very health conscious. In Japan, most of the cities are surprisingly clean. These are the
facts that have amazed me and increased my eagerness to visit Japan.

So, the JENESYS (Japan East Asia Network of exchange for students and youth) program was exactly the thing I was looking
for. Because every year thousands of youth from east Asian countries get the opportunity to visit Japan under this program to
promote mutual understanding. friendship and trust.

To know a country properly, interaction with its people and culture is a must. This program offers the same opportunity. It
offers one homestay and visits to different places which will help one to understand them easily.

If I get the chance to participate in the JENESYS program, then I would try to know about their culture, heritage and the life of
Japanese people. it has always been a wonder to me how Japanese people are so polite and disciplined. I would try to know
more about their education system which is the basis of producing such polite citizens. I would try to gather knowledge about
their garbage management system and how they keep their cities neat and clean . I will use this knowledge after returning. As
a member of NDIURC (Notre Dame International Understanding and Relations Club ), I would like to organize different
programs based on my experience in Japan. I will share my experience with my friends, family, and relatives.

In conclusion, I can say that the JENESYS program bears a lot of significance for me as I want to know about japan and its
people.
