Cast and crew M There will be enough water,
filming hours to be
regulated, a first aider
onsite and a place to get
food and drinks.
Crew and cast H All electricity is to be
checked over and
maintained and dated.
Everyone will be reminded
of the hazard and made
aware to not touch wires,
leads, etc. if faults are
found, be made sure to
report them. First aider
onsite.
Risk Assessment
Physical, this could be slipping
or tripping of wires or a wet
surface. Lifting heavy objects.
Could cause injury, fractures,
sprains etc.
Chemicals (asbestos, aerosols,
and fluids) could cause severe
breathing difficulties and in
extreme cases death.
Extreme heat/ cold. Could
cause burns and frostbite.
Fire. Things could set alight
and a fire could occur causing
problems such as skin burn
injuries, potentially inhalation
of the fumes, radiation and
cause eye problems.
Crew and cast H The crew in charge of lifting
or moving of set would’ve
done a manual handling
course and be aware of
potential hazards. Set will
be checked regularly for
spillages or wires that could
cause trips, spill kits on set.

Crew, cast and H To prevent this, make sure
public all chemicals are kept
securely and handled
correctly by those who are
qualified to and wearing
PPE. If filming in an old
building to have ensured
that they have been signed
off as asbestos free.
Crew and cast H To prevent this all cast and
crew will have warm
clothing, blankets, and hot
drinks/food. They will also
have cooler clothes,
sunscreen, and cold water.
Weather checked prior,
during to be aware and
have locations/ shelters.
First aiders onsite if a
problem occurs.
Crew, cast and H To prevent this have a fire
public. extinguisher and a fire
safety warning, PPE and
clean wielding is a must,
wielding screens and those
near have taken a wielding
course. Have ventilation
and all welders wearing
long sleeves to cover their
body from flashes.
Risk Assessment
Water, floods could occur,
damaging of electricals or set.
Could cause falls or injuries,
Corona virus could cause
illness and potential death for
those who have underlying
heath issues. Could also
spread the virus further and
cause more cases.
Cast and crew H To prevent this have secure
and checked pipes,
equipment covered from
water, have backups of files
and have the set and
equipment checked
regularly and check weather
forecasts.
Cast, crew and H To prevent spread, all cast
public and crew take a test and
only if negative then come
on set and all stay 2 metres
apart and have clean
equipment and use anti
bacteria sprays and hand
sanitiser and washing hands
regularly. Tests taken often
to keep track of those who
are negative and those who
are positive.
