PRINCIPLES OF DEMOCRACY:

2. EQUALITY: Islam is the torch bearer of equality among the human beings .Islam rejects all kinds of
discrimination on the basis of race, language, caste, color, culture and wealth or poverty.

1. NATIONAL INTEGRITY:
The initial problems of Pakistan required national integrity and close cooperation among the
people of the new country. It was the wisdom of Quaid-E—Azam who created national spirit and sense
of patriotism among the people.
2. SETTLEMENT OF REFUGEES:
About 6.5 million Muslims migrated to Pakistan to seek refuge. Their settlement was a huge
task.Quaid-E-Azam paid immediate attention to the settlement of those refugees. For this Quaid-E-
Azam Relief Fund was set up.

3. NEGATION TO PROVINCIAL AND RACIAL DISCRIMINATIONS:


Quaid-E-Azam advised the people to feel pride in calling themselves as Pakistanis and refrain from
any kind of racial discrimination.

MIAN OBJECTIVES OF ALIGARH MOVEMENT:

2. In the 1945-46 elections, Muslim League won about 90% seats in the provincial assembly of Punjab.
3. Quaid-E-Azam presided over Pakistan conference in Islamic College, Lahore .In 1941.the students and

4. The scholars and religious leaders filled the people of Punjab with the spirit of freedom. Allama Iqbal

Ans: OBJECTIVE RESOLUTION (1949):

4. India’s role: India played a great role in the separation of East Pakistan from West Pakistan through

Ans: CONSTITUTION:
Constitution is a collection of fundamental rules and regulations for smooth running of the
administration of state. Constitution is the supreme law of a state. As the conditions, demands and
needs of each state are different, so the constitutions of various states are also different. Constitution
can be written or unwritten one. According to Austin, the constitution is the one that defines the
structure of the good governance.
NECESSITY OF CONSTITUTION:
To run the administration of a state, the presence of a constitution is essential. In other words,
constitution syntheses of basic law on which the structure of any state stands. It becomes necessary
for government to perform its duties and functions within constitution limits. Without constitution, it
may cause chaos and confusion in the state.

Ans: Pakistan came into being under a specific ideology. Unlimited people sacrificed their lives for a
separate homeland where they could spend their lives according to the Islamic code. After the birth of
Pakistan, the masses demanded a constitution, resting an Islamic code, at the earliest. But just after
the birth of Pakistan, it had to face many complicated problems. This is why the making of constitution
was neglected.

practice after making some changes in it.
