write the utterances you hear from the film, identify the utterances, and put
them in correct types: declarations, expressive, representatives, directives, and
commisives and then identify which utterance belong to direct and indirect
speech acts.

Summay of the film:


This short film is about a teenage girl discovers her males friend’s secret group
chat. Carla is the only girl in the boy’s group. Someday, she discovers a secret
group chat that her male friends have without knowing it. She begins to wonder
why the boys don't sexualize her, but she also feels uneasy and "gross," as she
says, about what's happening. The performances of the young girl, especially by
the only girl in the male’s group Carla is sensitively rendered and well done,
and take care not to demonize or idealize any position.

At the school
Directives:
 Carla: Hurry up or I’m coming in. (direct)
Carla’s utterance is commisive; to tell the boys that she will come in if they are

happened.

This utterance is expressive; Carla express just being speechless because Finn
caught her opening the boy’s group chat.

 Finn: I just left my phone. (direct)

order to avoid being awkward because he caught Carla discover the boy’s
secret.

This utterance is expressive; it shows Carla’s reaction about the video she just
seen.

day. And I found this group chat of the boys of the football team and they

anybody anything. I’m sorry I just kind of feeling off right now. Hang on
