DIRECTED SITUATIONS 2 (30 POINTS)

1. You have not handed in your French assignment on time. Write

a note of apology to your teacher and give a reason.

2. You are not feeling well. Write a note to your PE teacher asking
his permission to stay in class.

4. Your French penpal sends you an email stating that he is unable

to visit you during the summer holidays because he has to work.

5. The secretary at your school hands you a message from your
mother telling you why she is unable to pick you up after school.

apologizing for your absence. What does the note say?

9. You invite your form teacher to lunch. He/she sends a note

apologizing for his/her absence and giving a reason. What does

10.Your mother writes a note telling your teacher that you will be
late for class tomorrow because of a dental appointment. What
does the note say?

Bonjour Madame, Marie-Hélène/Jean Christophe sera en retard pour

la classe demain, elle/il a un rendez-vous chez le dentiste.
