Discussions:

Father Cheriatt Jose, CHILDLINE Director


1. The meeting started with a prayer of hope and belief which helped to
strengthen insightful thoughts.
2. All the present members were asked to share an individual experience
during the lockdown phase. In this context, every member shared their
experiences as well learning which was gathered during the
unprecedented situation. Centre Coordinator of RCL, Howrah also shared
his experiences and appreciated the team spirit.
3. Quality of work and suggestions to improve in writing of daily work report
format was discussed.
4. Need of increasing the commitment level towards the allotted work was
also highlighted.
5. Focus on outreach mechanism to reach more number of vulnerable
children.

6. Need of publishing all work in social media platform while maintaining
confidentiality to increase the visibility and awareness about the activities
stressed upon.
7. Importance of maintaining punctuality during office hours and cleanliness
of the office premises.
8. One week training session on basic skills of computer, JJ Act and CPP were
announced with the roster for the training to be shared by the Centre
Coordinator.
9. Informed about the HR policy which was shared by the HR, Alok
Chowdhury. In continuation to it the promotion policy was informed
which had been modified in the part of the above stated policy.
10. A session of individual activity was carried out where a situation was
given and was instructed to fill up the intervention form and prepare a
case study of the child based on the stated situation.

Rajib Goswami, Centre Coordinator, RCL, Howrah


1. He informed all the present members to identify the vulnerable children
and understand the need of children before moving into the process.
2. He further highlighted on the documentation part which needed to be
focused more for maintaining good quality of work.
3. He emphasized on the awareness of CHILDLINE 1098 in Ferry Ghat area
which will be implemented soon and informed about the moving
awareness programme in the Railway Commercial Departments for newly
recruited staff.
4. Discussed about the courtesy which must be reflected in work place, also
to maintain loyalty for the organization.
5. Lastly, he shared the information on the visit of APPI, CIF HO, and ERRC
Team – with a brief feedback and expectation shared by them.
