At the end of the virtual rotation, students will be able to:
1. Gain basic knowledge on the tasks performed at a medical ward;
2. Utilize the nursing process in dealing with given cases/scenarios;
3. Identify necessary skills to address the needs of patients with acute and chronic medical
problems in oxygenation, fluid and electrolytes, infectious, inflammatory and immunologic
response, and cellular aberrations; and
4. Integrate theory and concepts of nursing and related fields in the practice of nursing care.
