11 ODL Test/ Exam The proposed Test/ Exam Week is one of alternative times for the
Week ODL Examination/ Test as agreed earlier by the Faculty of

[ODL Test/ Exam Most ODL Test/ Exam requires more than 2 hours (including
Week2: preparation time before test/exam and submission of student’s
*xx] answer). Compared to current class timetable, the time may be
insufficient for certain courses to do synchronous assessment.
b) To ensure no overlapping Test/Exam period between different
courses and no overlapping between Test/Exam period and
ODL classes based on synchronous approach.
c) To give time for students to focus on the ODL Test/ Exam.
d) To allow students to do CQI for the 1st test/exam achievement
for better performance for 2nd test/exam (sufficient time gap
should be given to students to do improvement in between
test/exam 1 and 2).
Some team may need to do Take Home Test/ Exam or Oral ODL
Exam/ Test. Lecturers just need to ensure the test period does not
clash with any ODL class (synchronous class/ does not clash with
formal timetable). During the Test Week period, only asynchronous
ODL are allowed, to give opportunity for students to focus on their
ODL exam/ test.
