6.6.1 VitreaExtend There are known image quality issues when running VitreaExtend on Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit
(SP2 and SP3) where images display tearing artifacts. To avoid any image quality issues, Vital
recommends you use Windows 7.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend Console Logout Restrictions
VIT-10705 Once any user logs into the VitreaExtend Host System, they must not log out if any Remote sessions
are active. If they do log out, then those sessions will become unresponsive. If there are no active
Remote sessions, a user can log out of the VitreaExtend Host System without issue. For more
information, refer to the VitreaExtend Install Guide.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend Remote sessions will log off after 15 minutes of inactivity. This amount of time is configured by your
System Administrator.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend If all remote sessions are in use, you will be notified that no additional sessions are available. The user
names using the open sessions will be listed.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend When loading very large datasets and/or using applications with high computation needs (such as Brain
Perfusion 4D) while using multiple concurrent remote sessions, you may notice longer loading and
processing times.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend VitreaExtend supports loading the same dataset on multiple sessions concurrently. Be aware that
software does not prevent multiple users viewing the same patient study at the same time.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced By default, both the Anticipatory Processing and MINT services are disabled. Only one of these two
VitreaWorkstation services should be enabled on a VIMS node with 8GB of RAM or less. If both services are needed, the
VIMS node should be upgraded to 16GB of RAM or more.
Anticipatory
Processing
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Some of the Anticipatory Processing scripts require customization in order to operate correctly in a
VitreaWorkstation particular environment. Before enabling the Anticipatory Processing services, all scripts should be
reviewed and/or updated by Vital Professional Services to ensure a proper configuration for the site.

click the Annulus contour in the axial viewer and select Annulus Size. The checkbox is now active and
can be selected.
6.6.2 VitreaAdvanced Restoring a Myocardial CT snapshot does not restore the heart rate value
VitreaWorkstation Snapshots taken within Myocardial CT do not restore the Heart Rate value in the viewer. As a
SUSENG-11745 workaround, edit any of the restored measurements followed by a re-compute or undo the edit. This
will recalculate the heart rate and display the value.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend Brain Perfusion Summary Map measurement values do not display on 2D perfusion
Brain Perfusion Brain Perfusion Summary Map volumes cannot be computed when the series contains only a single
VIT-11456 slice.

6.6.1 VitreaExtend VitreaExtend closes unexpectedly when you load Coronary Subtraction datasets that include
VIT-11485 secondary images
This issue occurs when you select a study that includes a secondary image (e.g., batch or report) in the
Study Directory and click the Load Volume button. As a result, VitreaExtend closes unexpectedly.
As a workaround, load the CTA volume and sub-volume. Do not select and attempt to load the
evidence with the CTA volume and sub-volume.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend User cannot mark TAVR measurements as done
VIT-11256 Double-clicking in an axial image creates an ROI. However, the name selected in the measurement list
does not become active so the user cannot mark the measurement as done.
As a workaround, right-click the measurement and assign the name.
6.6.1 VitreaExtend For remote sessions, movie previews in Report Findings tray are being cut short
VIT-11243 The Windows Media Player will close earlier than expected when being run on Remote Session.
As a workaround, the complete movie file can be previewed from the console or you can set the
Windows Media Player to loop.
6.6 VitreaExtend Compression fails for CD/DVD burning
VIT-3632 If you try to burn a CD/DVD from the Report page, the compression fails. Vital has disabled DICOM
compression for CD/DVD burning from the Report page.
6.6 VitreaExtend ROI tool is disabled for single volume in Calcium Scoring
VIT-10735 This issue occurs when you load a single volume into the Calcium Scoring CT: 2D Vscore protocol. The
ROI and Ellipse tools are disabled. If this happens, load the study into a generic protocol and perform
an ROI.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced TAVR Protocol – renaming measurements causes duplicated names
VIT-10790 This issue occurs when you complete the following workflow:
1. Launch study into TAVR protocol
2. Turn on show vessel.
3. Highlight Left Aortic-Iliac in findings list.
4. Select ruler and create measurement in inset by left clicking.
5. Right-click and select a pre-defined name. Use one of the RT ILIAC measurements.

7. Check the Report page.
As a result, the measurement displays twice, once grayed out in one vessel and once bold in the other.
As a workaround, reset, or delete the measurement and do in the correct vessel and rename
manually.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Head and Neck Bone Subtraction – Memory space use continues increasing when using the
VitreaWorkstation refine tool
VIT-10746 This issue occurs when the refine tool is used repeatedly which causes the memory use to keep
increasing, and the system slows down. If this happens, close and restart VitreaAdvanced when
memory usage rises to unacceptable levels.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced ROI tool is disabled for single volume in Calcium Scoring

VIT-10735 ROI and Ellipse tools are disabled. If this happens, load the study into a generic protocol and perform
an ROI.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced 4D Perfusion (Brain and Body) Slice numbers shown in axial views are incorrect
VIT-10730 This issue occurs when you follow these workflow steps:
1. Load a 4D Brain or Body Perfusion case.
2. Cine to the first slice in the first time phase.
3. Observe that the slice number shown in the axial overlay is #1.
4. Cine to the next time point without changing the z axis cine.
As a result, the axial shows #2.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Lung Nodule Analysis – Nodule comment is cut off in snapshot when it is too long
VitreaWorkstation If you write a long comment in the nodule comment box when a snapshot is taken, the comment may
VIT-10627 be cut off when it is displayed in the Viewer tab. The full comment will be shown in the table in the

6.6 VitreaAdvanced Media Manager import fails with extremely large DICOM datasets
VIT-6268 This issue occurs when you attempt to import extremely large .dcm files.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced Liver Analysis – Preset selector options for fusion not working
VIT-2206 This issue occurs when you follow these workflow steps:
1. Load multiple series in resection planning preset.
2. Segment the liver, portal vein (Portal or Venous phase), and hepatic artery (Arterial phase).
3. Go to portal phase and select the rigid fusion option.
4. Toggle between various preset selector options in portal phase.
5. Select fusion phase and toggle between various preset selector options
As a result, you see no difference between the liver solid option and liver vessels, and you can no
longer select the inverted MiP option.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Olea Sphere Cannot Perform Computations on Compressed DICOM Transfer Syntax
VIM-1961 If data is OleaSphere studies are sent to the VIMS in Compressed format, the software fails to perform
as Olea does not support JPEG lossless compressed data. To avoid this issue, send the data to Vitrea
using non-JPEG compressed transfer syntax and the data sent can be opened within Olea Sphere.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced This issue occurs with the following workflow steps:
VIM-1949 1. Load a series into Vitrea.
2. Select Generic CT and 3D preset.
3. Apply a Denoising preset.
4. Select the Save New Series option.
As a result, the new series is available in the study directory, but the volume is not built.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Anticipatory Processing: MPR Autobatch does not skip old priors for batching
PLT-5064 This issue occurs with the following workflow steps:
1. Set up to pre-fetch the last three prior exams from archives that are older than 5 years.
2. Push the current dated study to VitreaAdvanced and let it pre-fetch the old prior.
3. Make sure the old studies have dates older than defined data script.
1. As a result, the AP batches every prior study even though the date is outside the desired max age of
studies to be batched. As a workaround, check the study date time in the script.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced VG3 Server “Flutters” due to use of local machine time stamps
PLT-5108 The VG3 servers (vitrea-license, vitrea-home, etc.) register themselves as online automatically. The
PLT-4455 local time stamp is used during registration. The servers are also marked offline automatically if they
have not "checked in" in a reasonable time. However, if the time stamp on different machines is off by
more than a minute, the servers will be accidentally marked offline.
This behavior causes "fluttering" of the services because they are marked offline and online very
frequently. In one instance, the services were being erroneously marked offline 41 times a minute.
This behavior will fill the logs and audit table with erroneous data quickly.
The problem is that the system uses the online status for some of the services. If the license server is
"down", Vitrea View will not tell eViz the URL, and then eViz will raise a "License Error" to the user. To
the user, it appears the system is down.
The solution is it to use the central DB timestamp instead of the local machines.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Multi-Chamber Cardiac Functional Analysis displays blue box in VR viewer
VIT-6090 The issue occurs when you complete the following workflow steps:
VIT-3850 1. Load a multiple phase cardiac dataset.
2. Select Cardiac Function CT Protocol and 3-chamber preset.
3. Wait for segmentation to complete and then right-click on the LV region and select Show Volume.
As a result, a blue box displays on the image. This extra blue box is a rendering artifact and does not
inhibit the viewing of the anatomy. As a workaround, you could trim the affected part of the image
where the artifact displays.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced License Availability Report displays a gray screen
VIM-1867 Run a License availability report searching for the last day, and the results of the query returns a gray
screen. This is expected behavior if there are no events where there is a lack of license events. The
report should display a graph with values of the query if the systems detects that “lack of license
events” have occurred.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Snapshots display with Red X on report page
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurs when you complete the following steps:
1. Setup your NAS sharename to be patients.
VIT-9828 2. Install VIMS using the NAS share name you created in step 1. NAS path should look something
SUSENG-3408 like this \\VIMSHOSTNAME_or_NASHOST\patients\.
3. Install VitreaCore. You can also install an advanced server, but not required to reproduce.
However, and advanced server will give you better error reporting on this issue.
4. Log into VitreaCore.
5. Load into VitreaCore viewer or VitreaAdvanced viewer.
6. Take a snapshot or batch.
7. Click on the Report tab.
The snapshots do not display in the Report page, and there is a red X in its place. The snapshot does
display within the snapshot tray in VitreaCore. Select the Report page tab and see the following error,
"System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found..."
As a workaround, recreate a new NAS share without using patients as the sharename. Remove VES,
start with a new blank database, reinstall VES, and re-push all DICOM data back to VIMS.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced Calcium Scoring Series building into one volume

SUSENG-3336 This issue occurs when you import a data set with 6.3 volume builder rules. The software creates one
volume instead of two separate volumes.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Help Links display Adobe Error on VitreaAdvanced
SUSENG-3831 This issue occurs when accessing the Help Documents from the Viewer tab in VitreaAdvanced. As a
workaround, Help documents can be accessed from VitreaCore or directly from the website URL:

6.6.3 VitreaAdvanced Batch speed is slow with semi-transparency with CPU rendering
VitreaWorkstation When the user sets the transparency slider to greater than 50% for any object in the region list while
VIT-11915 using CPU engine, batching may take a very long time to complete. This issue has been resolved.

6.6.3 VitreaAdvanced Failed exports cause the study to be locked indefinitely

VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred when an export was requested which failed. After the export had been retried for
SUSENG-3832 the configured maximum number of retries, the study would not be unlocked, but stay in a locked state.
This issue has been resolved.
VIM-2003
6.6.3 VitreaAdvanced Segmented EVSP datasets with only 2 points for a centerline cause Vitrea to crash
VitreaWorkstation Previously, in rare situations, when datasets are segmented in EVSP, VitreaAdvanced or
VIT-11927 VitreaWorkstation could crash. This issue has been resolved.

6.6.2 VitreaAdvanced Endovascular Stent Planning unusable batch creation

VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred when you completed the following workflow:
VIT-11532 1. Loaded a study and selected Vascular Aorta Stent CT / Stent planning.
SUSENG-3837 2. After segmentation completed, selected Edit Centerline in the curved reference image.
3. Made edits to the centerline for common, right, and/or left Aortic-iliac vessels.
4. Cleared the Show Vessels checkbox.
5. Changed the sagittal image to a curved MPR.
6. Made the axial full screen.
7. Selected the Batch tab and made a batch.
8. Selected the Report tab and previewed the batch.
In some cases, the images jumped to the lower corner of the viewing area and the last image of the
volume was the first image in the batch. This issue is resolved.
6.6.2 VitreaAdvanced Certain graphs/images missing Demographic Heading information in DICOM tags
VIT-11702 When exporting non-DICOM files from the left side of the report page (CACS graphs, Polar Maps, etc.),
certain demographic DICOM tags are omitted when converting the non-DICOM image to a DICOM
image. When exporting these images to a VIMS-based system, if images from the same study are
already on the receiving system, the receiving VIMS will identify the mismatched demographics and
delete the existing images to ensure all images within the study have consistent information.
This issue is resolved and the proper tags are created during the export.
6.6.2 VitreaAdvanced Windows Security Login screen displayed when VitreaAdvanced Report page was selected
SUSENG-3843 Previously, a Windows Security login screen displayed asking for credentials when you selected the
Report page in the VitreaAdvanced session and service accounts were not granted administrative
privileges. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced VG3 Service upgrade on database causes problems
SUSENG-3802 When upgrading and starting up a VG3 for the first time, the software starts by doing a database
PLT-5156 upgrade, which is causing the sql log file to grow large in size and take a long time. This caused the
drive to fill up and the upgrade to fail. This issue has been resolved
PLT-5155
6.6 VitreaAdvanced VitreaCore login takes a long time
SUSENG-3633 This issue occured when logging into VitreaCore with LDAP account, the user experienced a delay of
up to 30 seconds before the study list displays. Logging in with local account is much faster. After that,
the delays are minimal and the study list displays. It occured even after a reboot with no other
programs running. This issue has been resolved.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced 3D Image Window/Level performance was degraded in virtual deployments
SUSENG-3679 This issue occurred when you loaded a study, selected any protocol, and window/leveled the 3D
VIT-10898 image. As a result, the 3D image window/levels operation was slow. The degree of slowdown was
affected by the study size and the protocol. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Softread files and registries were not removed after upgrade
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred after an upgrade to Softread was performed on VES and a PowerStation. Specific
VIT-10868 files were expected to be removed during the upgrade and were not causing an error to occur every
time a user launched into Softread, “invalid VitreaData Top Value”. This issue is resolved. Refer to the
Vital Customer Support Knowledgebase for more information.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced VitreaAdvanced launched with an error due to IE ESC not being turned off for Users
SUSENG-3643 This issue occurred when you had a VitreaAdvanced Server account that was a User and not an
VIT-10392 Administrator to the VitreaAdvanced Server. Refer to the VitreaAdvanced Server Install Guide for more
information.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Body Perfusion registration failure did not allow user to complete workflow
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred if the registration for the body perfusion protocol failed. The user interface buttons

6.6 VitreaAdvanced Carotid vessel contours could not be edited after probing vessels in another study when
VitreaWorkstation SUREPlaque was not licensed
SUSENG-2738 Previously, this issue occurred when you completed the following workflow with a license that did not
include SUREPlaque:
VIT-10362
1. Loaded an abdomen or a peripheral study; probed a vessel, and closed the study.
2. Loaded a carotid study, probed a vessel, and edited the contours. When applying the contour
changes, the contours would do not display or the first/last contours would display only.
This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Using “Aortic Neck Angle” measurement listed within the Measurement findings list did not
VitreaWorkstation properly update after centerline edit
VIT-10030 Previously, this issue occurred when you completed the following workflow:
VIT-10090 1. Launched a study using the TAVR or Stent Planning protocol and preset.
2. Created an angle measurement in the longitudinal inset, based on a grayed out angle
VIT-10052 measurement in the list.
VIT-10051 3. Edited the centerline and clicked OK.
4. Viewed the angle measurement listed at the bottom of the inset.
As a result, the aortic measurement result did not update. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced VI RollingFile Logging failed to roll over if the log was being actively written to
SUSENG-3743 This issue occurred when you actively logged to any log file using the RollingFileStream and waited
PLT-4879 until the log reached the rollover limit that was specified in MB by maxFileLength. As a result, the File |
Move operation failed and produced a runtime exception from the Log command that was currently
executing. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Zoom buttons perspective projection were not functioning and have been fixed
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred when you rendered in 3D in perspective mode and clicked the Zoom button in the
VIT-2763 3D image. As a result, the 3D image did not display in the Viewport. This issue is resolved.

6.6 VitreaAdvanced Vessel names did not display in the MPR views
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred when you used the vessel probe tool. Previously, the vessel name would not
SUSENG-3248 display in the MPR views. This issue is resolved. The vessel name will now display in the MPR views
VIT-9801 for all of the vessels.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced CT Multi-Chamber Cardiac - undo short-axis edit computed Polar Map incorrectly
VitreaWorkstation This issue occurred when the polar map was re-computed when the Undo button was clicked. For the
6.6 release, the Undo button is disabled for the 3-Chamber preset. It remains enabled for all other
VIT-10000 protocols.
VIT-10053 1. Load multi-phase cardiac dataset in the 3-chamber Cardiac Functional Analysis application
2. Select the 5-up viewer with polar maps
3. Rotate the cardiac sectors in the short-axis viewer using the LV Axis edit tool
4. Then select the undo button at the bottom of the screen.
This issue is resolved by disabling Undo in the 3-chamber preset.
NOTE: Due to a correction in the way myocardial contours are sampled for calculations, the numbers
and colors displayed on the polar maps of a restored snapshot may differ from the way they were
displayed when the snapshot was taken. The degree to which the calculated results can differ is
roughly equivalent to a 1-2 mm adjustment of the mitral valve plane in either end-systolic or end-
diastolic phases.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced CT Liver Resection Planning Base region was visible after segmenting the liver with the Pick
VitreaWorkstation tool
VIT-6956 This issue occurred any time the liver region was created using the liver pick tool. After segmentation,
the Show check box remained selected for the base region and the liver could not be seen well. This
VIT-8571 issue is resolved.

6.6 VitreaWorkstation EP Planning - Save 3D button was present but did not save EP files on Powerstation
VIT-8474 Previously, the Save 3D button would display on a Powerstation, however, the Save 3D feature is
specific to VitreaWorkstations. For the 6.6 release, the Save 3D button no longer displays when using a
Powerstation, as this functionality is not supported on a Powerstation.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Airway Vessel choice in the Region Color Selector menu did not function
VitreaWorkstation Previously this issue occurred when you performed the following workflow:
VIT-7007 1. Loaded a study into Generic CT/3D.
2. In the Anatomy List, clicked on the Options dropdown menu in the Base region and selected
Change Colors.
3. In the Region Color Selector popup menu, scrolled to the bottom and selected the Airway
Vessel option.
As a result, the Airway Vessel option in the Region Color Selector menu did not function.
Specifically, the space the button occupied on the user interface did not function. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Crosshair on MPR images while scrolling with mouse did not release the full crosshairs when
VIT-4129 finished scrolling
This issue occurred when scrolling through MPR images by spinning the wheel on the mouse. When
you scroll using the wheel it is expected that the crosshairs on the image stay filled in unless you stop
scrolling or click somewhere in the image. When you stop scrolling the crosshairs should not be filled
in. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Users may have assumed volumes and EF percentages were calculated based on the contoured
SUSENG-2483 region rather than the tinted region
Previously, it may have been unclear to users that the LV volume was based on the tinted LV region.
This issue has been addressed by turning the region tint back on, to illustrate that the tinted region
does not necessarily match the contour. An informational icon has also been added to remind users to
verify the tinted region because this is the volume used to calculate the Ejection Fraction and Stroke
Volume.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Vitrea Administration Tool User Audit Report did not show VitreaCore current sessions
VIM-1919 This issue occurred when you loaded a series in VitreaCore, launch the Vitrea Administration Tool, and
selected the User Audit Report page. As a result, the current session was not listed. It displayed once
the study was closed. This issue is resolved.
6.6 VitreaAdvanced Error seen printing Calcium Scoring graphs and table images
VIT-6348 Previously this issue occurred when you performed the following workflow:
1. Scored one of the vessels and took a snapshot.
2. Selected the Report tab. Clicked on an image template that was a 4:1 and replaced the current
calcium scoring template displayed.
3. Dragged the graph, table and snapshot to the image template on the right.
