Ted Talk Michael McNeill.

The mind is not a camera reflecting reality. None of it is actually is happening outside our own
minds.

We live in a world of thought but we think we live in a world of external experience.

Reality does not exist as we experience it, it is created by the mind. The Mind projects thoughts
and reality becomes our experience of it.

The mind does not work like a camera it works like a projector:
Syd Banks was a Scottish welder: Thought creates our reality. .... The mind projects our thoughts
onto consciousness like in a movie. The Projector of the MIND takes the film of THOUGHT and
projects it onto the Screen of CONSCIOUSNESS.

When you realize this the mind accepts it and slows down and when that happens something else
comes through

We think the problem is outside ourselves.

We’ve learned to live in the world of circumstance as if the only way for us to thrive is to control
that world, to make that world the way we want it.

Yet our experience is of a world that does not even exist until the moment we create it and it
CEASES to exit the moment a new thought comes along

This means that just because you have a thought in your head doesn’t mean it’s true

This means we’re not afraid of what we think we’re afraid of, we’re afraid of a thought, of what
we think

This means that no matter how long we’ve been stuck with a trauma, no matter how real a
problem seems, no matter how intractable a difficulty is perceived , you’re never more than one
thought away from a whole new experience of being alive.
